DUA DURING THE OCCULTATION OF IMAM MAHDI (A) - LONG

Through a valid chain of authority, it has been narrated that Shaykh Abu’Amr, the first Emissary (safir) of Imam alMahdi (‘a) dictated the following supplicatory prayer to AbuMuhammad ibn Hammam and ordered him to say it [frequently]. This supplication has been also recorded by Sayyid Ibn Tawus in his book of Jamal alUsbu’ following a number of other supplications to be said after the ‘Asr Prayers on Fridays and after the major prayer. He added the following:

If you, due to a justifiable excuse, cannot do any of the aforementioned rites, beware lest you ignore saying this supplication, because I personally have recognized the great merit of it through a grace of Almighty Allah that He has bestowed upon me exclusively; therefore, you may rely upon this supplication, which is as follows:

اَللّٰهُمَّ عَرِّفْنِيْ نَفْسَكَ، فَاِنَّكَ اِنْ لَمْ تُعَرِّفْنِيْ نَفْسَكَ لَمْ اَعْرِفْكَ رَسُوْلَكَ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ عَرِّفْنِيْ رَسُوْلَكَ، فَاِنَّكَ اِنْ لَمْ تُعَرِّفْنِيْ رَسُوْلَكَ لَمْ اَعْرِفْ حُجَّتَكَ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ عَرِّفْنِيْ حُجَّتَكَ، فَاِنَّكَ اِنْ لَمْ تُعَرِّفْنِيْ حُجَّتَكَ ضَلَلْتُ عَنْ دِيْنِيْۤ، اَللّٰهُمَّ لَاتُمِتْنِيْ مَيْتَةً جَاهِلِيَّةً، وَلَا تُزِ غْ قَلْبِيْ بَعْدَ اِذْ هَدَيْتَنِيْۤ، اَللّٰهُمَّ فَكَمَا هَدَيْتَنِيْ لِوِلَايَةِ مَنْ فَرَضْتَ عَلَيَّ طَاعَتَهُ مِنْ وِلَايَۃِ وُلَاةِ اَمْرِكَ بَعْدَ رَسُوْلِكَ صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهِ، حَتّٰى وَالَيْتُ وُلَاةَ اَمْرِكَ اَمِيْرَالْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ عَلِيَّ بْنَ اَبِيْ طَالِبٍ، وَالْحَسَنَ وَالْحُسَيْنَ وَعَلِيًّا وَمُحَمَّدًا وَجَعْفَرًا وَمُوْسٰى وَعَلِيًّا وَمُحَمَّدًا وَعَلِيًّا وَالْحَسَنَ وَالْحُجَّةَ الْقَاۤئِمَ الْمَهْدِيَّ صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِمْ اَجْمَعِيْنَ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ فَثَبِّتْنِيْ عَلٰى دِيْنِكَ، وَاسْتَعْمِلْنِيْ بِطَاعَتِكَ، وَلَيِّنْ قَلْبِيْ لِوَلِيِّ اَمْرِكَ، وَعَافِنِيْ مِمَّا امْتَحَنْتَ بِهِ خَلْقَكَ، وَثَبِّتْنِيْ عَلٰى طَاعَةِ وَلِيِّ اَمْرِكَ الَّذِيْ سَتَرْتَهُ عَنْ خَلْقِكَ، وَبِاِذْنِكَ غَابَ عَنْ بَرِيَّتِكَ، وَاَمْرَكَ يَنْتَظِرُ، وَاَنْتَ الْعَالِمُ غَيْرُ الْمُعَلَّمٍ بِالْوَقْتِ الَّذِيْ فِيْهِ صَلَاحُ اَمْرِ وَلِيِّكَ، فِيْ الْاِذْنِ لَهُ بِاِظْهَارِ اَمْرِهِ وَكَشْفِ سِتْرِّهِ، فَصَبِّرْنِيْ عَلٰى ذٰلِكَ، حَتّٰى لَاۤ اُحِبَّ تَعْجِيْلَ مَاۤ اَخَّرْتَ، وَلَا تَاْخِيْرَ مَا عَجَّلْتَ، وَلَا كَشْفَ مَا سَتَرْتَ، وَلَا اَبْحَثَ عَمَّا كَتَمْتَ، وَلَاۤ اُنَازِعَكَ فِيْ تَدْبِيْرِكَ، وَلَاۤ اَقُوْلَ لِمَ وَكَيْفَ وَمَا بَالُ وَلِيِّ الْاَمْرِ لَايَظْهَرُ وَقَدِ امْتَلَاَتِ الْاَرْضُ مِنَ الْجَوْرِ، وَاُفَوِّضُ اُمُوْرِيْ كُلَّهَاۤ اِلَيْكَ، اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْۤ

اَسْاَلُكَ اَنْ تُرِيَنِيْ وَلِيَّ اَمْرِكَ ظَاهِرًا نَافِذَالْاَمْرِ، مَعَ عِلْمِيْ بِاَنَّ لَكَ السُّلْطَانَ وَالْقُدْرَةَ، وَالْبُرْهَانَ وَالْحُجَّةَ، وَالْمَشِيَّةَ وَالْحَوْلَ وَالْقُوَّةَ، فَافْعَلْ ذٰلِكَ بِيْ وَبِجَمِيْعِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ، حَتّٰى نَنْظُرَ اِلٰى وَلِيِّ اَمْرِكَ صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهِ، ظَاهِرَالْمَقَالَةِ، وَاضِحَ الدَّلَالَةِ، هَادِيًا مِنَ الضَّلَالَةِ، شَافِيًا مِنَ الْجَهَالَةِ، وَاَبْرِزْ يَا رَبِّ مُشَاهَدَتَهُ، وَثَبِّتْ قَوَاعِدَهُ، وَاجْعَلْنَا مِمَّنْ تَقَرُّ عَيْنُهُ بِرُؤْيَتِهِ، وَاَقِمْنَا بِخِدْمَتِهِ، وَتَوَفَّنَا عَلٰى مِلَّتِهِ، وَاحْشُرْنَا فِيْ زُمْرَتِهِ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ اَعِذْهُ مِنْ شَرِّ جَمِيْعِ مَا خَلَقْتَ، وَذَرَاْتَ وَبَرَاْتَ وَاَنْشَاْتَ وَصَوَّرْتَ، وَاحْفَظْهُ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِ، وَعَنْ يَمِيْنِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ، وَمِنْ فَوْقِهِ وَمِنْ تَحْتِهِ، بِحِفْظِكَ الَّذِيْ لَايَضِيْعُ مَنْ حَفِظْتَهُ بِهِ، وَاحْفَظْ فِيْهِ رَسُوْلَكَ وَوَصِيَّ رَسُوْلِكَ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامُ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ وَمُدَّ فِيْ عُمْرِهِ، وَزِدْ فِيْۤ اَجَلِهِ، وَاَعِنْهُ عَلٰى مَاوَلَّيْتَهُ وَاسْتَرْعَيْتَهُ، وَ زِدْ فِيْ كَرَامَتِكَ لَهُ، فَاِنَّهُ الْهَادِىْ الْمَهْدِيُّ، وَالْقَاۤئِمُ الْمُهْتَدِيْ، وَالطَّاهِرُ التَّقِيُّ الزَّكِيُّ النَّقِيُّ الرَّضِيُّ الْمَرْضِيُّ الصَّابِرُ الشَّكُوْرُ الْمُجْتَهِدُ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ وَلَاتَسْلُبْنَا الْيَقِيْنَ لِطُوْلِ الْاَمَدِ فِيْ غَيْبَتِهِ، وَانْقِطَاعِ خَبَرِهِ عَنَّا،

O Allah, make me recognize You, because if You do not make me recognize You, I will not recognize Your Messenger. O Allah, make me recognize Your Messenger, because if You do not make me recognize Your Messenger, I will not recognize Your Argument. O Allah, make me recognize Your Argument, because if You do not make me recognize Your Argument, I will stray off the path to my religion. O Allah, do not make me die like the death of those who have not recognized Islam and do not cause my heart to stray off after You have guided me. O Allah, just as You have guided me to the loyalty of those the obedience to whom You have made incumbent upon me, that is the loyalty to Your representatives after Your Messenger, Your peace be upon him and his Household, and thus I am loyal to Your representatives; [namely,] the Commander of the Faithful, al-Hasan, al-Husayn, ‘Ali, Muhammad, Ja'far, Musa, ‘Ali, Muhammad, ‘Ali, al-Hasan, and the Argument—the Assumer and well-guided, Your peace be upon them all, so also, O Allah, make me steadfast on Your religion, use me in the obedience to You, make my heart lenient towards Your representative, release me from that which You have used as tests for Your creatures, and make me steadfast on the obedience to Your representative, whom You have hidden from Your creatures and he has thus disappeared from [the sights of] Your creatures by Your permission, waiting for Your command [to reappear], and You are the most Knower and none can instruct You of the best time for Your representative to reappear, and when exactly You allow him to declare his affair and to disclose his secret. So, grant me patience to endure that so that I will not long for hastening that which You have delayed or delaying that which You would hasten, I will not disclose that which You have concealed, I will not investigate that which You have covered, I will not dispute with You about Your management, and I will not ask, ‘why’, ‘how’ and ‘what for the Representative is not coming, after the earth has been filled with injustice. Instead, I will refer all my affairs to You.

وَلَاتُنْسِنَا ذِكْرَهُ وَانْتِظَارَهُ، وَالْاِيْمَانَ بِهِ، وَقُوَّةَ الْيَقِيْنِ فِيْ ظُهُوْرِهِ، وَالدُّعَاۤءَ لَهُ وَالصَّلٰوةَ عَلَيْهِ، حَتّٰى لَا يُقَنِّطَنَا طُوْلُ غَيْبَتِهِ مِنْ قِيَامِهِ، وَيَكُوْنَ يَقِيْنُنَا فِيْ ذٰلِكَ كَيَقِيْنِنَا فِيْ قِيَامِ رَسُوْلِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهِ، وَمَا جَاۤءَ بِهِ مِنْ وَحْيِكَ وَتَنْزِيْلِكَ، فَقَوِّ قُلُوْبَنَا عَلَى الْاِيْمَانِ بِهِ، حَتّٰى تَسْلُكَ بِنَا عَلٰى يَدَيْهِ مِنْهَاجَ الْهُدٰى وَالْمَحَجَّةَ الْعُظْمٰى، وَالطَّرِيْقَةَ الْوُسْطٰى، وَقَوِّنَا عَلٰى طَاعَتِهِ، وَثَبِّتْنَا عَلٰى مُتَابَعَتِهِ، وَاجْعَلْنَا فِيْ حِزْبِهِ وَاَعْوَانِهِ وَاَنْصَارِهِ، وَالرَّاضِيْنَ بِفِعْلِهِ، وَلَاتَسْلُبْنَا ذٰلِكَ فِيْ حَيَاتِنَا، وَلَا عِنْدَ وَفَاتِنَا، حَتّٰى تَتَوَفَّانَا وَنَحْنُ عَلٰى ذٰلِكَ لَاشَآكِّيْنَ وَلَا نَاكِثِيْنَ، وَلَا مُرْتَابِيْنَ وَلَا مُكَذِّبِيْنَ، اَللّٰهُمَّ عَجِّلْ فَرَجَهُ، وَاَيِّدْهُ بِالنَّصْرِ، وَانْصُرْ نَاصِرِيْهِ، وَاخْذُلْ خَاذِلِيْهِ، وَدَمْدِمْ عَلٰى مَنْ نَصَبَ لَهُ وَكَذَّبَ بِهِ، وَاَظْهِرْبِهِ الْحَقَّ، وَاَمِتْ بِهِ الْجَوْرَ، وَاسْتَنْقِذْ بِهِ عِبَادَكَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ مِنَ الذُّلِّ، وَانْعَشْ بِهِ الْبِلَادَ، وَاقْتُلْ بِهِ جَبَابِرَةَ الْكُفْرَةِ، وَاقْصِمْ بِهِ رُؤُوْسَ الضَّلَالَةِ، وَذَلِّلْ بِهِ الْجَبَّارِيْنَ وَالْكَافِرِيْنَ۔ وَاَبِرْ بِهِ الْمُنَافِقِيْنَ وَالنَّاكِثِيْنَ، وَجَمِيْعَ

O Allah, I beseech You to allow me to see the Representative, apparent and prevalent, although I know for sure that all authority, power, potency, argument, volition, might, and strength are Yours [alone]. So, do this to me and to all the believers so that we will be able to witness Your representative, Your peace be upon him, while he is evident in claim, manifest in proof, guiding from deviation, and healing from ignorance. O my Lord, make the looking at him eminent, make firm his bases, make us of those whose eyes are delighted by seeing him, employ us to serve him, make us die following his creed, and include us with his group. O Allah, protect him against the evil of all that which You have created, made, originated, fashioned, and formed. Safeguard him from his front and back, his right and left sides, and above and beneath him with Your safeguarding that will never fail to save whomever is safeguarded with it, and safeguard Your Messenger and Your Messenger’s Successor through safeguarding him, peace be upon them. O Allah, extend his lifetime, increase the period of his life, help him undertake that which You have entrusted with him and put under his supervision, and increase Your honor to him. Verily, he is the guide, the well-guided, the assumer (of the mission entrusted with him), the rightly guided, the immaculate, the pious, the pure, the refined, the pleased, the satisfied, the serene, the thankful, and the hard-working. O Allah, do not deprive us of our strong faith because of his long-lasting occultation and disconnection between him and us. Do not make us forget to mention him [constantly], to expect him, to believe in him, to enjoy strong faith in his advent, to pray You for him, and to invoke Your blessings on him so that his long-lasting occultation will never make us despair of his advent and our faith in this will be just like our faith in the advent of Your Messenger, Your peace be upon him and his Household, and [just like our faith in] all that which has been conveyed by him to us through Your Revelation and Divine communication. O Allah, make our hearts believe in him unshakably so that You will lead us, at his hands, to the path of true guidance, the greatest destination, and the moderate way. Grant us strength to obey him, make us firm in supporting him, and include us with his party, backers, allies, and those satisfied with his deed. Do not deprive us of so during our lifetimes nor at the hour of our death, but (please) make us die while we carry this faith, without doubt, breach of our covenant to him, suspect, or belying him.

الْمُخَالِفِيْنَ وَالْمُلْحِدِيْنَ، فِيْ مَشَارِقِ الْاَرْضِ وَمَغَارِبِهَا، وَبَرِّهَا وَبَحْرِهَا، وَسَهْلِهَا وَجَبَلِهَا، حَتّٰى لَاتَدَعَ مِنْهُمْ دَيَّارًا، وَلَاتُبْقِيَ لَهُمْ اٰثَارًا، طَهِّرْ مِنْهُمْ بِلَادَكَ، وَاشْفِ مِنْهُمْ صُدُوْرَ عِبَادِكَ۔ وَجَدِّدْ بِهِ مَا امْتَحٰى مِنْ دِيْنِكَ، وَاَصْلِحْ بِهِ مَا بُدِّلَ مِنْ حُكْمِكَ، وَغُيِّرَ مِنْ سُنَّتِكَ، حَتّٰى يَعُوْدَ دِيْنُكَ بِهِ وَعَلٰى يَدَيْهِ غَضًّا جَدِيْدًا صَحِيْحًا لَا عِوَجَ فِيْهِ، وَلَا بِدْعَةَ مَعَهُ، حَتّٰى تُطْفِئَ بِعَدْلِهِ نِيْرَانَ الْكَافِرِيْنَ۔ فَاِنَّهُ عَبْدُكَ الَّذِيْ اسْتَخْلَصْتَهُ لِنَفْسِكَ، وَارْتَضَيْتَهُ لِنَصْرِ دِيْنِكَ، وَاصْطَفَيْتَهُ بِعِلْمِكَ، وَعَصَمْتَهُ مِنَ الذُّنُوْبِ، وَبَرَّاْتَهُ مِنَ الْعُيُوْبِ، وَاَطْلَعْتَهُ عَلَى الْغُيُوْبِ، وَاَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِ، وَطَهَّرْتَهُ مِنَ الرِّجْسِ، وَنَقَّيْتَهُ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ فَصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلٰۤى اٰبَاۤئِهِ الْاَئِمَّةِ الطَّاهِرِيْنَ، وَعَلٰى شِيْعَتِهِ الْمُنْتَجَبِيْنَ، وَبَلِّغْهُمْ مِنْ اٰمَالِهِمْ مَايَاْمُلُوْنَ، وَاجْعَلْ ذٰلِكَ مِنَّا خَالِصًا مِنْ كُلِّ شَكٍّ وَشُبْهَةٍ وَرِيَاۤءٍ وَسُمْعَةٍ، حَتّٰى لَانُرِيْدَ بِهِ غَيْرَكَ، وَلَانَطْلُبَ بِهِ اِلَّا وَجْهَكَ، اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنَّا نَشْكُوْۤ اِلَيْكَ فَقْدَ نَبِيِّنَا، وَغَيْبَةَ اِمَامِنَا، وَشِدَّةَ الزَّمَانِ عَلَيْنَا، وَوُقُوْعَ الْفِتَنِ بِنَا، وَتَظَاهُرَ الْاَعْدَاۤءِ عَلَيْنَا، وَكَثْرَةَ عَدُوِّنَا، وَقِلَّةَ

O Allah, hasten his Relief, aid him with victory, grant his supporters victory, disappoint those who disappoint him, doom those who conspire against him and those who contradict him, make manifest the truth through him, obliterate injustice through him, save Your faithful servants from humiliation through him, refresh the lands through him, kill the tyrannical chiefs of disbelief through him, crush the heads of deviation through him, debase the tyrants and disbelievers through him, eradicate the hypocrites, the breachers, and all the dissidents and the atheists in the east and west of this earth, on lands, in oceans, in plains, and in mountains so that You will not leave of them a single one on earth and You will keep not even a single trace of them. Clean Your lands from them, heal the breasts of Your servants from them, revive the signs of Your religion that were obliterated, and rectify Your laws that were altered and Your instructions that were changed, so that Your religion will be restored, through him and at his hands, fresh, new, and sound without any crookedness and without any heresy so that You will extinguish the fires of the disbelievers through his justice. He is verily Your servant on whom You have decided for Yourself, accepted to support Your religion, chosen on the basis of Your [eternal] knowledge, preserved against sms, freed from defects, apprised of the unseen, bestowed with Your grace, purified from filth, and refined from impurity. So, O Allah, confer blessings upon him and upon his forefathers the immaculate Imams and upon his elite partisans, make them attain the utmost of their hopes, and accept this from us to be free from any doubt, sedition, ostentation, or showing off, so that we will not seek through it anyone save You and we will not aim for anything save Your Face. O Allah, we complain to You about missing our Prophet, occultation of our Master, unbearable vicissitudes of days against us, befalling of seditious matters, alliance of our enemies [against us], the big numbers of our enemies, and the fewness of us.

عَدَدِنَا۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ فَفْرُجْ ذٰلِكَ عَنَّا بِفَتْحٍ مِنْكَ تُعَجِّلُهُ، وَنَصْرٍ مِنْكَ تُعِزُّهُ، وَ اِمَامِ عَدْلٍ تُظْهِرُهُ، اِلٰهَ الْحَقِّ اٰمِيْنَ، اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنَّا نَسْاَلُكَ اَنْ تَاْذَنَ لِوَلِيِّكَ فِيْ اِظْهَارِ عَدْلِكَ فِيْ عِبَادِكَ، وَقَتْلِ اَعْدَاۤئِكَ فِيْ بِلَادِكَ، حَتّٰى لَاتَدَعَ لِلْجَوْرِ يَارَبِّ دِعَامَةً اِلَّا قَصَمْتَهَا، وَلَا بَقِيَّةً اِلَّاۤ اَفْنَيْتَهَا، وَلَا قُوَّةً اِلَّاۤ اَوْهَنْتَهَا، وَلَا رُكْنًا اِلَّا هَدَمْتَهُ، وَلَا حَدًّا اِلَّا فَلَلْتَهُ، وَلَا سِلَاحًا اِلَّاۤ اَكْلَلْتَهُ، وَلَا رَايَةً اِلَّا نَكَّسْتَهَا، وَلَا شُجَاعًا اِلَّا قَتَلْتَهُ، وَلَاجَيْشًا اِلَّا خَذَلْتَهُ۔ وَارْمِهِمْ يَا رَبِّ بِحَجَرِكَ الدَّامِغِ، وَاضْرِبْهُمْ بِسَيْفِكَ الْقَاطِعِ، وَبَاْسِكَ الَّذِيْ لَاتَرُدُّهُ عَنِ الْقَوْمِ الْمُجْرِمِيْنَ، وَعَذِّبْ اَعْدَاۤءَكَ،

O Allah, relieve us from all that by means of a triumph that You may hasten, a victory that You may fortify, and a just leader that You allow to appear. O God of the Truth, respond to us. O Allah, we earnestly beseech You to allow Your Representative to spread Your justice in Your lands and to kill Your enemies in Your lands, so that You, O my Lord, will not leave any support [of injustice] but that You demolish it, any remnant but that You terminate it, any power but that You enfeeble it, any probe but that You destroy it, any sharp sword but that You notch it, any weapon but that You deactivate it, any pennon but that You turn it over, any dominant one but that You kill him, and any army but that You defeat it. Throw them, O my Lord, with Your stamping stone, strike them with Your cutting sword and Your power that You do not ward off from the offensive people, and torture. Your enemies and the enemies of Your representative and the enemies of Your Messenger, Your blessings be upon him and upon his Household, at the hand of Your representative and the hands of Your faithful servants. O Allah, suffice Your representative and argument on Your lands against the terror of his enemy, deter the conspiracies of those who plot against him, ward off those who plan against him, make the disaster of evil to be upon those who intend ill to him, stop their schemes against him, make their hearts panic about him, make their feet convulse, grasp them gradually and suddenly, intensify Your torment on them, disgrace them among Your servants, curse them in Your lands, lodge them in the lowest class of Your fire, encompass them with the most intense of Your punishment, expose them to fire, stuff the graves of their dead ones with fire, and expose them to the heat of Your fire, for they have ruined the prayers, followed their lusts, and misled Your servants.

وَاَعْدَاۤءَ وَلِيِّكَ وَاَعْدَاۤءَ رَسُوْلِكَ صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهِ، بِيَدِ وَلِيِّكَ، وَاَيْدِيْ عِبَادِكَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ اكْفِ وَلِيَّكَ وَحُجَّتَكَ فِيْۤ اَرْضِكَ هَوْلَ عَدُوِّهِ، وَكَيْدَ مَنْ كَادَهُ، وَامْكُرْ بِمَنْ مَكَرَ بِهِ، وَاجْعَلْ دَاۤئِرَةَ السَّوْءِ عَلٰى مَنْ اَرَادَ بِهِ سُوْۤءًا، وَاقْطَعْ عَنْهُ مَآدَّتَهُمْ، وَاَرْعِبْ لَهُ قُلُوْبَهُمْ، وَزَلْزِلْ اَقْدَامَهُمْ، وَخُذْهُمْ جَهْرَةً وَبَغْتَةً، وَشَدِّدْ عَلَيْهِمْ عَذَابَكَ، وَاَخْزِهِمْ فِيْ عِبَادِكَ، وَالْعَنْهُمْ فِيْ بِلَادِكَ، وَاَسْكِنْهُمْ اَسْفَلَ نَارِكَ، وَاَحِطْ بِهِمْ اَشَدَّ عَذَابِكَ، وَاَصْلِهِمْ نَارًا، وَاحْشُ قُبُوْرَ مَوْتَاهُمْ نَارًا، وَاَصْلِهِمْ حَرَّنَارِكَ، فَاِنَّهُمْ اَضَاعُوْا الصَّلٰوةَ، وَاتَّبَعُوْا الشَّهَوَاتِ، وَاَضَلُّوْا عِبَادَكَ وَ اَخْرَبُوْا بِلَادَكَ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ وَاَحْيِ بِوَلِيِّكَ الْقُرْاٰنَ، وَاَرِنَا نُوْرَهُ سَرْمَدًا، لَالَيْلَ فِيْهِ، وَاَحْيِ بِهِ الْقُلُوْبَ الْمَيِّتَةَ، وَاشْفِ بِهِ الصُّدُوْرَ الْوَغِرَةَ، وَاجْمَعْ بِهِ الْاَهْوَاۤءَ الْمُخْتَلِفَةَ عَلَى الْحَقِّ، وَاَقِمْ بِهِ الْحُدُوْدَ الْمُعَطَّلَةَ، وَالْاَحْكَامَ

Therefore, O Allah, revive the Qur'an through Your representative, make us see his light to be never-ending without any night, revive the dead hearts through him, heal the furious breasts through him, combine the divergent inclinations to the right through him, and re-establish the broken-down provisions and the neglected laws through him so that no item of truth will be undisclosed and no item of justice unthriven. And make us, O my Lord, of his supporters, of the strengtheners of his authority, of those carrying out his orders, of those satisfied with his deeds, of those submissive to his Judgements, and of those who do not need to practice dissimulation before Your creatures any more. It is You, O my Lord, Who relieve from harms, respond to the depressed when they supplicate to You, and save from grave agonies. So, remove harm from Your representative and make him a vicegerent on the earth as You have promised him to do. O Allah, do not include me with the rivals of Muhammad’s Household, peace be upon them, do not include me with the enemies of Muhammad’s Household, peace be upon them, and do not include me with those who bear spite and malice against Muhammad’s Household, peace be upon them. I do seek Your protection against making me so; therefore, protect me against it, and I take refuge in You against so; therefore, save me against it. O Allah, send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, make me of the winners with You through them in this worldly life and in the Hereafter, and make me of those brought near to You. Respond, O Lord of the worlds.

الْمُهْمَلَةَ، حَتّٰى لَايَبْقٰى حَقٌّ اِلَّاظَهَرَ، وَلَا عَدْلٌ اِلَّا زَهَرَ۔ وَاجْعَلْنَا يَا رَبِّ مِنْ اَعْوَانِهِ وَمُقَوِّيَةِ سُلْطَانِهِ وَالْمُؤْتَمِرِيْنَ لِاَمْرِهِ، وَالرَّاضِيْنَ بِفِعْلِهِ، وَالْمُسَلِّمِيْنَ لِاَحْكَامِهِ، وَمِمَّنْ لَا حَاجَةَ بِهِ اِلَى التَّقِيَّةِ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ، وَ اَنْتَ يَا رَبِّ الَّذِيْ تَكْشِفُ الضُّرَّ، وَتُجِيْبُ الْمُضْطَرَّ اِذَا دَعَاكَ، وَتُنْجِيْ مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيْمِ، فَاكْشِفِ الضُّرَّ عَنْ وَلِيِّكَ، وَاجْعَلْهُ خَلِيْفَۃً فِيْۤ اَرْضِكَ كَمَا ضَمِنْتَ لَهُ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ لَاتَجْعَلْنِيْ مِنْ خُصَمَاۤءِ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامُ، وَلَاتَجْعَلْنِيْ مِنْ اَعْدَاۤءِ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامُ، وَلَاتَجْعَلْنِيْ مِنْ اَهْلِ الْحَنَقِ وَالْغَيْظِ عَلٰۤى اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامُ، فَاِنّيْۤ اَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ ذٰلِكَ فَاَعِذْنِيْ، وَاَسْتَجِيْرُ بِكَ فَاَجِرْنِيْ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَاجْعَلْنِيْ بِهِمْ فَاۤئِزًا عِنْدَكَ فِيْ الدُّنْيَا وَالْاٰخِرَةِ، وَمِنَ الْمُقَرَّبِيْنَ، اٰمِيْنَ رَبّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ۔
