TAQIBAAT E NAMAZ E ZOHR

Subsequent to the Noon (Zohr) Prayer, say the following supplicatory prayer, as is quoted from Misbah al-Mutahajjid:

لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ الْعَظِيْمُ الْحَلِيْمُ

There is no god save Allah, the All-great and Most Forbearing.

لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيْمُ

There is no god save Allah, the Lord of the Throne of Honor.

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ

All praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّي اَسْاَلُكَ مُوْجِبَاتِ رَحْمَتِكَ

O Allah, I ask You for the motives of Your mercy,

وَ عَزَاۤئِمَ مَغْفِرَتِكَ

the determining causes of Your forgiveness,

وَ الْغَنِيْمَةَ مِنْ كُلِّ بِرٍّ

the advantage of each act of kindness,

وَ السَّلَامَةَ مِنْ كُلِّ اِثْمٍ

and the safeguarding against each and every sin.

اَللّٰهُمَّ لَا تَدَعْ لِيْ ذَنْبًا اِلَّا غَفَرْتَهُ

O Allah, (please) do not leave any of my offenses unforgiven,

وَ لَا هَمًّا اِلَّا فَرَّجْتَهُ

any of my misfortunes unrelieved,

وَ لَا سُقْمًا اِلَّا شَفَيْتَهُ

any of my ailments unhealed,

وَ لَا عَيْبًا اِلَّا سَتَرْتَهُ

any of my defects uncovered,

وَ لَا رِزْقًا اِلَّا بَسَطْتَهُ

any (item of my) sustenance not including (me),

وَ لَا خَوْفًا اِلَّا اٰمَنْتَهُ

any fear (that I experience) unsecured,

وَ لَا سُوۤءًا اِلَّا صَرَفْتَهُ

any evil (that comes upon me) uncontrollable,

وَ لَا حَاجَةً هِيَ لَكَ رِضًا وَ لِيَ فِيْهَا صَلَاحٌ اِلَّا قَضَيْتَهَا

and any need that achieves Your satisfaction and my benefit unanswered.

يَاۤ اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ،

O most Merciful of all those who show mercy.

اٰمِيْنَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ۔

(please) Respond, O Lord of the worlds.

You may then repeat the following litany ten times:

بِاللّٰهِ اعْتَصَمْتُ

With Allah I seek protection,

وَ بِاللّٰهِ اَثِقُ

in Allah I trust,

وَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ اَتَوَكَّلُ

and upon Allah I rely.

You may then say the following supplicatory prayer:

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنْ عَظُمَتْ ذُنُوْبِيْ فَاَنْتَ اَعْظَمُ

O Allah! if my sins are enormous, surely You are more Tremendous.

وَ اِنْ كَبُرَ [كَثُرَ] تَفْرِيْطِيْ فَاَنْتَ اَكْبَرُ

If my transgression has exceeded all limits, surely You are Greater.

وَ اِنْ دَامَ بُخْلِيْ فَاَنْتَ اَجْوَدُ

If my stinginess has perpetuated, surely You are more Generous.

اَللّٰهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِيْ عَظِيْمَ ذُنُوْبِيْ بِعَظِيْمِ عَفْوِكَ

O Allah, (please) forgive my enormous sins out of Your tremendous pardon,

وَ كَثِيْرَ تَفْرِيْطِيْ بِظَاهِرِ كَرَمِكَ

forgive my limitless transgression out of Your obvious generosity,

وَ اقْمَعْ بُخْلِيْ بِفَضْلِ جُوْدِكَ

and impede my stinginess by the virtue of Your magnanimity.

اَللّٰهُمَّ مَا بِنَا مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ فَمِنْكَ

O Allah, You are certainly the source of each and every favor that covers us.

لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ

There is no god save You.

اَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَ اَتُوْبُ اِلَيْكَ۔

I pray Your forgiveness and I repent before You.
