2nd Day

اَللّٰهُمَّ قَرِّبْنِي فِيْهِ اِلٰى مَرْضَاتِكَ،

O Allah, on this day, (please) take me near Your pleasure,

وَجَنِّبْنِيْ فِيْهِ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ وَنَقِمَاتِكَ،

keep me away on it from Your wrath and punishments,

وَوَفِّقْنِيْ فِيْهِ لِقِرَاۤءَةِ اٰيَاتِكَ

and make me succeed in reciting Your verses,

بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ۔

in the name of Your mercy, O most Merciful of all those who show mercy!
