بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ۔

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

اَللّٰهُمَّ بِعِلْمِكَ الْغَيْبِ، وَ قُدْرَتِكَ عَلَى الْخَلْقِ، اَحْيِنِيْ مَا عَلِمْتَ الْحَيَاةَ خَيْرًا لِيْ، وَ تَوَفَّنِيْ اِذَا كَانَتِ الْوَفَاةُ خَيْرًا لِي۔

O Allah, by Your unseen knowledge, and Your power upon the creatures; keep me alive till You know that life is good for me and make me die when death is better for me.

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْاَلُكَ كَلِمَةَ الْاِخْلَاصِ، وَ خَشْيَتَكَ فِيْ الرِّضَا وَ الْغَضَبِ، وَ الْقَصْدَ فِيْ الْغِنٰى وَ الْفَقْرِ، وَ اَسْاَلُكَ نَعِيْمًا لَا يَنْفَدُ، وَ اَسْاَلُكَ قُرَّةَ عَيْنٍ لَا تَنْقَطِعُ، وَ اَسْاَلُكَ الرِّضَا بِالْقَضَاءِ، وَ اَسْاَلُكَ بَرْدَ الْعَيْشِ بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ، وَ اَسْاَلُكَ النَّظَرَ اِلٰى وَجْهِكَ وَ الشَّوْقَ اِلٰى لِقَائِكَ مِنْ غَيْرِ ضَرَّاءَ مُضِرَّةٍ، وَ لَا فِتْنَةٍ مُظْلِمَةٍ، اَللّٰهُمَّ زَيِّنَّا بِزِيْنَةِ الْاِيْمَانِ وَ اجْعَلْنَا هُدَاةً مَهْدِيِّيْنَ يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ۔

O Allah! I ask You for that bounty, which never ends and regarding the pleasure, which never stops. I am prepared to approve your decision and after death I seek the peace of life and I am eager to see your elegance. I am eager to meet You provided there is no harmful sorrow and grief or dark mischief. O God, embellish me with the ornaments of faith and make me a guided guide, O Lord of the worlds.
