First: It is recommended to repeat the following imploration one hundred times at the nineteenth night of Ramadan:
اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ رَبِّي وَاَتُوْبُ اِلَيْهِ۔
I implore for Allah’s forgiveness, my Lord, and I repent before Him.
Second: It is recommended to repeat the following imprecatory prayer one hundred times at the nineteenth night of Ramadan:
اَللّٰهُمَّ الْعَنْ قَتَلَةَ اَمِيْرِ المُؤْمِنِيْنَ۔
O Allah, (please do) curse the slayers of the Commander of the Believers.
Third: It is recommended to say the aforementioned supplicatory prayer that begins with the following statement:
يَا ذَا الَّذِيْ كَانَ قَبْلَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ،
O He Who has existed before all things...
ثُمَّ خَلَقَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ،
ثُمَّ يَبْقٰى وَيَفْنٰى كُلُّ شَيْءٍ،
يَا ذَا الَّذِيْ لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ،
وَيَا ذَا الَّذِيْ لَيْسَ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ الْعُلٰى،
وَلَا فِى الْاَرَضِيْنَ الْسُفْلٰى،
وَلَا فَوْقَهُنَّ وَلَا تَحْتَهُنَّ،
وَلَا بَيْنَهُنَّ اِلـٰهٌ يُعْبَدُ غَيْرُهُ
لَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْدًا لَا يَقْوٰى عَلٰى اِحْصَآئِهِ اِلَّا اَنْتَ،
فَصَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَاٰلِ مُحَمِّدٍ
صَلَاةً لَا يَقْوٰى عَلٰى اِحْصَآئِهَا اِلَّا اَنْتَ۔
Fourth: It is recommended to say the following supplicatory prayer:
اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فِيْمَا تَقْضِيْ وَتُقَدِّرُ،
O Allah, at the time of taking decisions
مِنَ الْاَمْرِ الْمَحْتُوْمِ،
that are inevitable
وَفِيْمَا تَفْرُقُ مِنَ الْاَمْرِ الْحَكِيْمِ فِيْ لَيْلَةِ القَدْرِ،
and rendering possible things and events decisively, at the night of Qadr,
وَفِي الْقَضَاۤءِ الَّذِيْ لَا يُرَدُّ وَلَا يُبَدَّلُ،
in the decisions that are neither retreated nor altered,
اَنْ تَكْتُبَنِي مِنْ حُجَّاجِ بَيْتِكَ الْحَرَامِ،
(please) write my name in the list of those pilgrims of Your ‘Sacred House’
الْمَبْرُوْرِ حَجُّهُمُ،
whose pilgrimage receive Your approval,
الْمَشْكُوْرِ سَعْيُهُمُ،
whose efforts are appreciated,
الْمَغْفُوْرِ ذُنُوْبُهُمُ،
whose sins are forgiven,
الْمُكَفَّرِ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتُهُمْ،
and whose offenses are pardoned by You.
وَاجْعَلْ فِيْمَا تَقْضِيْ وَتُقَدِّرُ،
Decide from among the decisions that You make,
اَنْ تُطِيْلَ عُمْرِيْ،
to grant me long lifetime,
وَتُوَسِّعَ عَلَيَّ فِي رِزْقِي ...
expand means of livelihood...
One may mention his desires after that.
