اِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ اللهُ
Surely, your Lord is Allah,
الَّذِيْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضَ
Who created the heavens and the earth
فِي سِتَّةِ اَيَّامٍ
in six periods of time,
ثُمَّ اسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ
and He is firm in power.
يُغْشِيْ اللَّيْلَ النَّهَارَ يَطْلُبُهُ حَثِيْثًا
He throws the veil of night over the day, which it pursues incessantly,
وَّالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ وَالنُّجُوْمَ مُسَخَّرَاتٍ بِاَمْرِهِ ۗ
and (He created) the sun and the moon and the stars, made subservient by His command.
اَلَا لَهُ الْخَلْقُ وَالْاَمْرُ ۗ
Surely, His is the creation and the command.
تَبَارَكَ اللهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ اُدْعُوْا
Blessed is Allah, the Lord of the worlds. Call on your Lord humbly and secretly.
رَبَّكُمْ تَضَرُّعًا وَخُفْيَةً ۚ
Surely, He does not love those who exceed the limits.
اِنَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُعْتَدِيْنَ
And do not make mischief in the earth after its reformation,
وَلَا تُفْسِدُوْا فِي الْاَرْضِ بَعْدَ اِصْلَاحِهَا
and call on Him fearing and hoping.
وَادْعُوْهُ خَوْفًا وَطَمَعًا ۚ اِنَّ رَحْمَتَ اللهِ قَرِيبٌ مِّنَ الْمُحْسِنِيْنَ۔
Surely, the mercy of Allah is nigh to those who do good (to others).
According to other traditions, the second verse (i.e. call on your lord) is not included.
