QURANIC VERSE FROM SAFETY FROM WILD BEASTS

When a wild land where beasts live is entered, it is advised to recite these holy verses:

لَقَدْ جَاۤئَكُمْ رَسُوْلٌ مِنْ اَنْفُسِكُمْ

“Certainly, a Messenger has come to you from among yourselves;

عَزِيْزٌ عَلَيْهِ مَا عَنِتُّمْ

grievous to him is your falling into distress,

حَرِيْصٌ عَلَيْكُمْ

excessively solicitous respecting you;

بِالْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ رَؤُفٌ رَحِيْمٌ

to the believers (he is) compassionate and merciful.

فَاِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَقُلْ حَسْبِىَ اللّٰهُ

But if they turn back, say: Allah is sufficient for me,

لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ

there is no god but He;

عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ

on Him do I rely,

وَ هُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيْمِ۔

and He is the Lord of mighty power.”
