The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) is reported to have said that one who repeats the following supplicatory prayer seven times at Friday night will be allowed Paradise if he departs life at that night; and one who repeats it seven times on Friday will be also allowed Paradise if he departs life on that day:

اَللّٰهُمَّ اَنْتَ رَبِّيْ

O Allah, You are my Lord;

لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ

there is no god save You;

خَلَقْتَنِيْ وَ اَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَ ابْنُ اَمَتِكَ

You have created me, and I am Your slave and the son of Your bondmaid;

وَ فِي قَبْضَتِكَ وَ نَاصِيَتِيْ بِيَدِكَ

and I am in Your grip; and my forehead is in Your Hand;

اَمْسَيْتُ عَلٰى عَهْدِكَ وَ وَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ

I come to observe my covenant and promise to You as much as I can.

اَعُوْذُ بِرِضَاكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ

I take refuge in Your pleasure against the evil of my deeds.

اَبُوۤءُ بِنِعْمَتِكَ [بِعَمَلِيْ‏] وَ اَبُوۤءُ بِذَنْبِيْ [بِذُنُوْبِي‏]

I acknowledge Your favors and confess of my sins.

فَاغْفِرْ لِيْ ذُنُوْبِيْ

So, (please) forgive my sins,

اِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوْبَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ ۔

for none can forgive sins save You.
