PERMISSION TO ENTER HOLY PLACE OF IMAM ALI AL NAQI AL HADI
In his book of Misbah alZa’ir, Sayyid Ibn Tawus has restricted to each of the two Imams (namely, alHadi and al’Askari) a long form of ziyarah, form of invocation of Allah’s blessing on them, and a supplicatory prayer to be said after the Ziyarah Prayer.
Because these forms of ziyarah are full of excellent points, we will mention them hereinafter even if this may lead us to extend the book.
When you arrive at the holy place of Imam alHadi (‘a) in Samarra’, you may immediately perform the ritual bathing of ziyarah, put on the cleanest of your clothes, and walk with tranquility and gravity towards the holy shrine. When you reach the gate, you may ask permission of entrance, by saying the following words:
اَاَدْخُلُ يَا نَبِيَّ اللّٰهِ
اَاَدْخُلُ يَاۤ اَمِيْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
May I enter, O Prophet of Allah? May I enter, O Commander of the Faithful? May I enter, O Fâtimah the luminous and the doyenne of the women of the world? May I enter, O my master al-Hasan the son of 'Ali? May I enter, O my master al-Husayn the son of 'Ali? May I enter, O my master 'Ali the son of al-Husayn? May I enter, O my master Muhammad the son of 'Ali? May I enter, O my master Ja'far the son of Muhammad? May I enter, O my master Müsâ the son of Ja'far? May I enter, O my master 'Ali the son of Müsâ? May I enter, O my master Muhammad the son of 'Ali? May I enter, O my master Abu’l-Hasan 'Ali the son of Muhammad? May I enter, O my master Abü-Muhammad al-Hasan the son of 'Ali? May I enter, O angels of Allah whom are assigned to manage this holy sanctuary?
اَاَدْخُلُ يَا فَاطِمَةُ الزَّهْرَاۤءُ
سَيِّدَةَ نِسَاۤءِ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
اَاَدْخُلُ يَا مَوْلَايَ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ
اَاَدْخُلُ يَا مَوْلَايَ الْحُسَيْنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ
اَاَدْخُلُ يَا مَوْلَايَ عَلِيَّ بْنَ الْحُسَيْنِ
اَاَدْخُلُ يَا مَوْلَايَ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ
اَاَدْخُلُ يَا مَوْلَايَ جَعْفَرَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ
اَاَدْخُلُ يَا مَوْلَايَ مُوْسَى بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ
اَاَدْخُلُ يَا مَوْلَايَ عَلِيَّ بْنَ مُوْسٰى
اَاَدْخُلُ يَا مَوْلَايَ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ
اَاَدْخُلُ يَا مَوْلَايَ يَاۤ اَبَا الْحَسَنِ عَلِيَّ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ
اَاَدْخُلُ يَا مَوْلَايَ يَاۤ اَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ ۟اِلْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ
اَاَدْخُلُ يَا مَلَاۤئِكَةَ اللّٰهِ
الْمُوَكَّلِيْنَ بِهٰذَا الْحَرَمِ الشَّرِيْفِ۔
