FOURTH FORM OF ZIYARAH

Mu’awiyah ibn ‘Ammar has reported that he asked Imam alSadiq (‘a) what to do when visiting Imam alHusayn’s tomb. The Imam (‘a) taught him to say the following words:

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَاۤ اَبَا عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ

صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْكَ يَاۤ اَبَا عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ

Peace be upon you, O Abu-'Abdullah. May Allah bless you, O Abu-'Abdullah. May Allah have mercy upon you, O Abu-' Abdullah. May Allah curse those who slew you.

رَحِمَكَ اللّٰهُ يَاۤ اَبَا عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ

لَعَنَ اللّٰهُ مَنْ قَتَلَكَ

وَ لَعَنَ اللّٰهُ مَنْ شَرِكَ فِيْ دَمِكَ

وَ لَعَنَ اللّٰهُ مَنْ بَلَغَهُ ذٰلِكَ فَرَضِيَ بِهِ

اَنَا اِلَى اللّٰهِ مِنْ ذٰلِكَ بَرِيۤ‏ءٌ۔
