SURAH AL-AHQAF (THE SANDHILLS)
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
حٰمٓ‏(1)
<font color="000000"><b>(1) Ha Mim.</b></font>
تَنْزِيْلُ الْكِتٰبِ مِنَ اللّٰهِ الْعَزِيْزِ الْحَكِيْمِ‏(2)
<font color="000000"><b>(2) The revelation of the Book is from Allah, the Mighty, the Wise.</b></font>
مَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَاۤ اِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَاَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى‌ؕ وَالَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا عَمَّاۤ اُنْذِرُوْا مُعْرِضُوْنَ‏(3)
<font color="000000"><b>(3) We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them two save with truth and (for) an appointed term; and those who disbelieve turn aside from what they are warned of.</b></font>
قُلْ اَرَءَيْتُمْ مَّا تَدْعُوْنَ مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ اَرُوْنِىْ مَاذَا خَلَقُوْا مِنَ الْاَرْضِ اَمْ لَهُمْ شِرْكٌ فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ‌ؕ اِیْتُوْنِىْ بِكِتٰبٍ مِّنْ قَبْلِ هٰذَاۤ اَوْ اَثٰرَةٍ مِّنْ عِلْمٍ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِيْنَ‏(4)
<font color="000000"><b>(4) Say: Have you considered what you call upon besides Allah? Show me what they have created of the earth, or have they a share in the heavens? Bring me a book before this or traces of knowledge, if you are truthful.</b></font>
وَمَنْ اَضَلُّ مِمَّنْ يَّدْعُوْا مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ مَنْ لَّا يَسْتَجِيْبُ لَهٗۤ اِلٰى يَوْمِ الْقِيٰمَةِ وَهُمْ عَنْ دُعَآئِهِمْ غٰفِلُوْنَ‏(5)
<font color="000000"><b>(5) And who is in greater error than he who calls besides Allah upon those that will not answer him till the day of resurrection and they are heedless of their call?</b></font>
وَاِذَا حُشِرَ النَّاسُ كَانُوْا لَهُمْ اَعْدَآءً وَّ كَانُوْا بِعِبَادَتِهِمْ كٰفِرِيْنَ‏(6)
<font color="000000"><b>(6) And when men are gathered together they shall be their enemies, and shall be deniers of their worshipping (them).</b></font>
وَاِذَا تُتْلٰى عَلَيْهِمْ اٰيٰتُنَا بَيِّنٰتٍ قَالَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا لِلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَهُمْۙ هٰذَا سِحْرٌ مُّبِيْنٌؕ‏(7)
<font color="000000"><b>(7) And when Our clear communications are recited to them, those who disbelieve say with regard to the truth when it comes to them: This is clear magic.</b></font>
اَمْ يَقُوْلُوْنَ افْتَرٰٮهُ‌ؕ قُلْ اِنِ افْتَرَيْتُهٗ فَلَا تَمْلِكُوْنَ لِىْ مِنَ اللّٰهِ شَيئًا‌ ؕ هُوَ اَعْلَمُ بِمَا تُفِيْضُوْنَ فِيْهِ‌ؕ كَفٰى بِهٖ شَهِيْدًاۢ بَيْنِىْ وَبَيْنَكُمْ‌ ؕ وَهُوَ الْغَفُوْرُ الرَّحِيْمُ‏(8)
<font color="000000"><b>(8) Nay! they say: He has forged it. Say: If I have forged it, you do not control anything for me from Allah; He knows best what you utter concerning it; He is enough as a witness between me and you, and He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.</b></font>
قُلْ مَا كُنْتُ بِدْعًا مِّنَ الرُّسُلِ وَمَاۤ اَدْرِىْ مَا يُفْعَلُ بِىْ وَلَا بِكُمْؕ اِنْ اَتَّبِعُ اِلَّا مَا يُوْحٰٓى اِلَىَّ وَمَاۤ اَنَا اِلَّا نَذِيْرٌ مُّبِيْنٌ‏(9)
<font color="000000"><b>(9) Say: I am not the first of the apostles, and I do not know what will be done with me or with you: I do not follow anything but that which is revealed to me, and I am nothing but a plain warner.</b></font>
قُلْ اَرَءَيْتُمْ اِنْ كَانَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللّٰهِ وَكَفَرْتُمْ بِهٖ وَشَهِدَ شَاهِدٌ مِّنْۢ بَنِىْۤ اِسْرَآءِيْلَ عَلٰى مِثْلِهٖ فَاٰمَنَ وَاسْتَكْبَرْتُمْ‌ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يَهْدِى الْقَوْمَ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ‏(10)
<font color="000000"><b>(10) Say: Have you considered if it is from Allah, and you disbelieve in it, and a witness from among the children of Israel has borne witness of one like it, so he believed, while you are big with pride; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.</b></font>
وَقَالَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا لِلَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لَوْ كَانَ خَيْرًا مَّا سَبَقُوْنَاۤ اِلَيْهِ‌ ؕ وَاِذْ لَمْ يَهْتَدُوْا بِهٖ فَسَيَقُوْلُوْنَ هٰذَاۤ اِفْكٌ قَدِيْمٌ‏(11)
<font color="000000"><b>(11) And those who disbelieve say concerning those who believe: If it had been a good, they would not have gone ahead of us therein. And as they do not seek to be rightly directed thereby, they say: It is an old lie.</b></font>
وَمِنْ قَبْلِهٖ كِتٰبُ مُوْسٰٓى اِمَامًا وَّرَحْمَةً  ‌ ؕ وَهٰذَا كِتٰبٌ مُّصَدِّقٌ لِّسَانًا عَرَبِيًّا لِّيُنْذِرَ الَّذِيْنَ ظَلَمُوْا ‌ۖ  وَبُشْرٰى لِلْمُحْسِنِيْنَ‌ۚ‏(12)
<font color="000000"><b>(12) And before it the Book of Musa was a guide and a mercy: and this is a Book verifying (it) in the Arabic language that it may warn those who are unjust and as good news for the doers of good.</b></font>
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ قَالُوْا رَبُّنَا اللّٰهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوْا فَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُوْنَ‌ۚ‏(13)
<font color="000000"><b>(13) Surely those who say, Our Lord is Allah, then they continue on the right way, they shall have no fear nor shall they grieve.</b></font>
اُولٰٓئِكَ اَصْحٰبُ الْجَنَّةِ خٰلِدِيْنَ فِيْهَا‌ ۚ جَزَآءًۢ بِمَا كَانُوْا يَعْمَلُوْنَ‏(14)
<font color="000000"><b>(14) These are the dwellers of the garden, abiding therein: a reward for what they did.</b></font>
وَوَصَّيْنَا الْاِنْسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ اِحْسَانًا‌ ؕ حَمَلَتْهُ اُمُّهٗ كُرْهًا وَّوَضَعَتْهُ كُرْهًا‌ ؕ وَحَمْلُهٗ وَفِصٰلُهٗ ثَلٰثُوْنَ شَهْرًا‌ ؕ حَتّٰٓى اِذَا بَلَغَ اَشُدَّهٗ وَبَلَغَ اَرْبَعِيْنَ سَنَةً  ۙ قَالَ رَبِّ اَوْزِعْنِىْۤ اَنْ اَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِىْۤ اَنْعَمْتَ عَلَىَّ وَعَلٰى وَالِدَىَّ وَاَنْ اَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضٰٮهُ وَاَصْلِحْ لِىْ فِىْ ذُرِّيَّتِىْ ؕۚ اِنِّىْ تُبْتُ اِلَيْكَ وَاِنِّىْ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِيْنَ‏(15)
<font color="000000"><b>(15) And We have enjoined on man doing of good to his parents; with trouble did his mother bear him and with trouble did she bring him forth; and the bearing of him and the weaning of him was thirty months; until when he attains his maturity and reaches forty years, he says: My Lord! grant me that I may give thanks for Thy favor which Thou hast bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may do good which pleases Thee and do good to me in respect of my offspring; surely I turn to Thee, and surely I am of those who submit.</b></font>
اُولٰٓئِكَ الَّذِيْنَ نَتَقَبَّلُ عَنْهُمْ اَحْسَنَ مَا عَمِلُوْا وَنَتَجَاوَزُ عَنْ سَيِّاٰتِهِمْ فِىْۤ اَصْحٰبِ الْجَنَّةِ‌ ؕ وَعْدَ الصِّدْقِ الَّذِىْ كَانُوْا يُوْعَدُوْنَ‏(16)
<font color="000000"><b>(16) These are they from whom We accept the best of what they have done and pass over their evil deeds, among the dwellers of the garden; the promise of truth which they were promised.</b></font>
وَالَّذِىْ قَالَ لِوَالِدَيْهِ اُفٍّ لَّكُمَاۤ اَتَعِدٰنِنِىْۤ اَنْ اُخْرَجَ وَقَدْ خَلَتِ الْقُرُوْنُ مِنْ قَبْلِىْ‌ ۚ وَهُمَا يَسْتَغِيْثٰنِ اللّٰهَ وَيْلَكَ اٰمِنْ ۖ  اِنَّ وَعْدَ اللّٰهِ حَقٌّ  ۖۚ فَيَقُوْلُ مَا هٰذَاۤ اِلَّاۤ اَسَاطِيْرُ الْاَوَّلِيْنَ‏(17)
<font color="000000"><b>(17) And he who says to his parents: Fie on you! do you threaten me that I shall be brought forth when generations have already passed away before me? And they both call for Allah's aid: Woe to you! believe, surely the promise of Allah is true. But he says: This is nothing but stories of the ancients.</b></font>
اُولٰٓئِكَ الَّذِيْنَ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقَوْلُ فِىْۤ اُمَمٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِّنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْاِنْسِ‌ؕ اِنَّهُمْ كَانُوْا خٰسِرِيْنَ‏(18)
<font color="000000"><b>(18) These are they against whom the word has proved true among nations of the jinn and the men that have already passed away before them; surely they are losers.</b></font>
وَلِكُلٍّ دَرَجٰتٌ مِّمَّا عَمِلُوْا‌ ۚ وَلِيُوَفِّيَهُمْ اَعْمَالَهُمْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُوْنَ‏(19)
<font color="000000"><b>(19) And for all are degrees according to what they did, and that He may pay them back fully their deeds and they shall not be wronged.</b></font>
وَيَوْمَ يُعْرَضُ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا عَلَى النَّارِ ؕ اَذْهَبْتُمْ طَيِّبٰتِكُمْ فِىْ حَيَاتِكُمُ الدُّنْيَا وَاسْتَمْتَعْتُمْ بِهَا ‌ۚ فَالْيَوْمَ تُجْزَوْنَ عَذَابَ الْهُوْنِ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَسْتَكْبِرُوْنَ فِى الْاَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَبِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَفْسُقُوْنَ‏(20)
<font color="000000"><b>(20) And on the day when those who disbelieve shall be brought before the fire: You did away with your good things in your life of the world and you enjoyed them for a while, so today you shall be rewarded with the punishment of abasement because you were unjustly proud in the land and because you transgressed.</b></font>
وَاذْكُرْ اَخَا عَادٍؕ اِذْ اَنْذَرَ قَوْمَهٗ بِالْاَحْقَافِ وَقَدْ خَلَتِ النُّذُرُ مِنْۢ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهٖۤ اَلَّا تَعْبُدُوْۤا اِلَّا اللّٰهَ ؕ اِنِّىْۤ اَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيْمٍ‏(21)
<font color="000000"><b>(21) And mention the brother of Ad; when he warned his people in the sandy plains,-- and indeed warners came before him and after him-- saying Serve none but Allah; surely I fear for you the punishment of a grievous day.</b></font>
قَالُوْۤا اَجِئْتَنَا لِتَاْفِكَنَا عَنْ اٰلِهَتِنَا‌ ۚ فَاْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَاۤ اِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصّٰدِقِيْنَ‏(22)
<font color="000000"><b>(22) They said: Have you come to us to turn us away from our gods; then bring us what you threaten us with, if you are of the truthful ones.</b></font>
قَالَ اِنَّمَا الْعِلْمُ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ ‌ۖ وَاُبَلِّغُكُمْ مَّاۤ اُرْسِلْتُ بِهٖ وَلٰكِنِّىْۤ اَرٰٮكُمْ قَوْمًا تَجْهَلُوْنَ‏(23)
<font color="000000"><b>(23) He said: The knowledge is only with Allah, and I deliver to you the message with which I am sent, but I see you are a people who are ignorant.</b></font>
فَلَمَّا رَاَوْهُ عَارِضًا مُّسْتَقْبِلَ اَوْدِيَتِهِمْ ۙ قَالُوْا هٰذَا عَارِضٌ مُّمْطِرُنَا‌ ؕ بَلْ هُوَ مَا اسْتَعْجَلْتُمْ بِهٖ ‌ۚ رِيْحٌ فِيْهَا عَذَابٌ اَ لِيْمٌۙ‏(24)
<font color="000000"><b>(24) So when they saw it as a cloud appearing in the sky advancing towards their valleys, they said: This is a cloud which will give us rain. Nay! it is what you sought to hasten on, a blast of wind in which is a painful punishment,</b></font>
تُدَمِّرُ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ ۭ بِاَمْرِ رَبِّهَا فَاَصْبَحُوْا لَا يُرٰٓى اِلَّا مَسٰكِنُهُمْ‌ؕ كَذٰلِكَ نَجْزِى الْقَوْمَ الْمُجْرِمِيْنَ‏(25)
<font color="000000"><b>(25) Destroying everything by the command of its Lord, so they became such that naught could be seen except their dwellings. Thus do We reward the guilty people.</b></font>
وَلَقَدْ مَكَّنّٰهُمْ فِيْمَاۤ اِنْ مَّكَّنّٰكُمْ فِيْهِ وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ سَمْعًا وَّاَبْصَارًا وَّاَفْئِدَةً  ۖ فَمَاۤ اَغْنٰى عَنْهُمْ سَمْعُهُمْ وَلَاۤ اَبْصَارُهُمْ وَلَاۤ اَفْئِدَتُهُمْ مِّنْ شَىْءٍ اِذْ كَانُوْا يَجْحَدُوْنَۙ بِاٰيٰتِ اللّٰهِ وَحَاقَ بِهِمْ مَّا كَانُوْا بِهٖ يَسْتَهْزِءُوْنَ‏(26)
<font color="000000"><b>(26) And certainly We had established them in what We have not established you in, and We had given-- them ears and eyes and hearts, but neither their ears, nor their eyes, nor their hearts availed them aught, since they denied the communications of Allah, and that which they mocked encompassed them.</b></font>
وَلَقَدْ اَهْلَكْنَا مَا حَوْلَكُمْ مِّنَ الْقُرٰى وَصَرَّفْنَا الْاٰيٰتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُوْنَ‏(27)
<font color="000000"><b>(27) And certainly We destroyed the towns which are around you, and We repeat the communications that they might turn.</b></font>
فَلَوْلَا نَصَرَهُمُ الَّذِيْنَ اتَّخَذُوْا مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ قُرْبَانًا اٰلِهَةً ؕ بَلْ ضَلُّوْا عَنْهُمْ‌ۚ وَذٰلِكَ اِفْكُهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوْا يَفْتَرُوْنَ‏(28)
<font color="000000"><b>(28) Why did not then those help them whom they took for gods besides Allah to draw (them) nigh (to Him)? Nay! they were lost to them; and this was their lie and what they forged.</b></font>
وَاِذْ صَرَفْنَاۤ اِلَيْكَ نَفَرًا مِّنَ الْجِنِّ يَسْتَمِعُوْنَ الْقُرْاٰنَ‌ۚ فَلَمَّا حَضَرُوْهُ قَالُوْۤا اَنْصِتُوْا‌ۚ فَلَمَّا قُضِىَ وَلَّوْا اِلٰى قَوْمِهِمْ مُّنْذِرِيْنَ‏(29)
<font color="000000"><b>(29) And when We turned towards you a party of the jinn who listened to the Quran; so when they came to it, they said: Be silent; then when it was finished, they turned back to their people warning (them).</b></font>
قَالُوْا يٰقَوْمَنَاۤ اِنَّا سَمِعْنَا كِتٰبًا اُنْزِلَ مِنْۢ بَعْدِ مُوْسٰى مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ يَهْدِىْۤ اِلَى الْحَقِّ وَاِلٰى طَرِيْقٍ مُّسْتَقِيْمٍ‏(30)
<font color="000000"><b>(30) They said: O our people! we have listened to a Book revealed after Musa verifying that which is before it, guiding to the truth and to a right path:</b></font>
يٰقَوْمَنَاۤ اَجِيْبُوْا دَاعِىَ اللّٰهِ وَاٰمِنُوْا بِهٖ يَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ مِّنْ ذُنُوْبِكُمْ وَيُجِرْكُمْ مِّنْ عَذَابٍ اَ لِيْمٍ‏(31)
<font color="000000"><b>(31) O our people! accept the Divine caller and believe in Him, He will forgive you of your faults and protect you from a painful punishment.</b></font>
وَمَنْ لَّا يُجِبْ دَاعِىَ اللّٰهِ فَلَيْسَ بِمُعْجِزٍ فِى الْاَرْضِ وَلَيْسَ لَهٗ مِنْ دُوْنِهٖۤ اَوْلِيَآءُ ‌ؕ اُولٰٓئِكَ فِىْ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِيْنٍ‏(32)
<font color="000000"><b>(32) And whoever does not accept the-Divine caller, he shall not escape in the earth and he shall not have guardians besides Him, these are in manifest error.</b></font>
اَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا اَنَّ اللّٰهَ الَّذِىْ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضَ وَلَمْ يَعْىَ بِخَلْقِهِنَّ بِقٰدِرٍ عَلٰۤی اَنْ يُّحْیِۦَ الْمَوْتٰى ‌ؕ بَلٰٓى اِنَّهٗ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ‏‏(33)
<font color="000000"><b>(33) Have they not considered that Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth and was not tired by their creation, is able to give life to the dead? Aye! He has surely power over all things.</b></font>
وَيَوْمَ يُعْرَضُ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا عَلَى النَّارِ ؕ اَلَيْسَ هٰذَا بِالْحَقِّ‌ ؕ قَالُوْا بَلٰى وَرَبِّنَا‌ ؕ قَالَ فَذُوْقُوا الْعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَكْفُرُوْنَ‏(34)
<font color="000000"><b>(34) And on the day when those who disbelieve shall be brought before the fire: Is it not true? They shall say: Aye! by our Lord! He will say: Then taste the punishment, because you disbelieved.</b></font>
فَاصْبِرْ كَمَا صَبَرَ اُولُوا الْعَزْمِ مِنَ الرُّسُلِ وَلَا تَسْتَعْجِلْ لَّهُمْ‌ؕ كَاَنَّهُمْ يَوْمَ يَرَوْن مَا يُوْعَدُوْنَۙ لَمْ يَلْبَثُوْۤا اِلَّا سَاعَةً مِّنْ نَّهَارٍ ‌ؕ بَلٰغٌ ۚ فَهَلْ يُهْلَكُ اِلَّا الْقَوْمُ الْفٰسِقُوْنَ‏(35)
<font color="000000"><b>(35) Therefore bear up patiently as did the apostles endowed with constancy bear up with patience and do not seek to hasten for them (their doom). On the day that they shall see what they are promised they shall be as if they had not tarried save an hour of the day. A sufficient exposition! Shall then any be destroyed save the transgressing people?</b></font>
SURAH MUHAMMAD
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
اَلَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا وَصَدُّوْا عَنْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ اَضَلَّ اَعْمَالَهُمْ‏(1)
<font color="000000"><b>(1) (As for) those who disbelieve and turn away from Allah's way, He shall render their works ineffective.</b></font>
وَالَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ وَاٰمَنُوْا بِمَا نُزِّلَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّهُوَ الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَّبِّهِمْ‌ۙ كَفَّرَ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّاٰتِهِمْ وَاَصْلَحَ بَالَهُمْ‏(2)
<font color="000000"><b>(2) And (as for) those who believe and do good, and believe in what has been revealed to Muhammad, and it is the very truth from their Lord, He will remove their evil from them and improve their condition.</b></font>
ذٰ لِكَ بِاَنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا اتَّبَعُوا الْبَاطِلَ وَاَنَّ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوا اتَّبَعُوا الْحَقَّ مِنْ رَّبِّهِمْ‌ؕ كَذٰلِكَ يَضْرِبُ اللّٰهُ لِلنَّاسِ اَمْثَالَهُمْ‏(3)
<font color="000000"><b>(3) That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood, and have given them their dowries, taking (them) in marriage, not fornicating nor taking them for paramours in secret; and whoever denies faith, his work indeed is of no account, and in the hereafter he shall be one of the losers.</b></font>
فَاِذَا لَقِيْتُمُ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا فَضَرْبَ الرِّقَابِ ؕ حَتّٰٓى اِذَاۤ اَثْخَنْتُمُوْهُمْ فَشُدُّوْا الْوَثَاقَ ۙ فَاِمَّا مَنًّۢا بَعْدُ وَاِمَّا فِدَآءً حَتّٰى تَضَعَ الْحَرْبُ اَوْزَارَهَا ۛۚ  ذٰ لِكَ ‌ۛؕ وَلَوْ يَشَآءُ اللّٰهُ لَانْتَصَرَ مِنْهُمْ  وَلٰكِنْ لِّيَبْلُوَاۡ بَعْضَكُمْ بِبَعْضٍ‌ؕ وَالَّذِيْنَ قُتِلُوْا فِىْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ فَلَنْ يُّضِلَّ اَعْمَالَهُمْ‏(4)
<font color="000000"><b>(4) So when you meet in battle those who disbelieve, then smite the necks until when you have overcome them, then make (them) prisoners, and afterwards either set them free as a favor or let them ransom (themselves) until the war terminates. That (shall be so); and if Allah had pleased He would certainly have exacted what is due from them, but that He may try some of you by means of others; and (as for) those who are slain in the way of Allah, He will by no means allow their deeds to perish.</b></font>
سَيَهْدِيْهِمْ وَيُصْلِحُ بَالَهُمْۚ‏(5)
<font color="000000"><b>(5) He will guide them and improve their condition.</b></font>
وَيُدْخِلُهُمُ الْجَنَّةَ عَرَّفَهَا لَهُمْ‏(6)
<font color="000000"><b>(6) And cause them to enter the garden which He has made known to them.</b></font>
يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْۤا اِنْ تَنْصُرُوا اللّٰهَ يَنْصُرْكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتْ اَقْدَامَكُمْ‏(7)
<font color="000000"><b>(7) O you who believe! if you help (the cause of) Allah, He will help you and make firm your feet.</b></font>
وَالَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا فَتَعْسًا لَّهُمْ وَاَضَلَّ اَعْمَالَهُمْ‏(8)
<font color="000000"><b>(8) And (as for) those who disbelieve, for them is destruction and He has made their deeds ineffective.</b></font>
ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهُمْ كَرِهُوْا مَاۤ اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ فَاَحْبَطَ اَعْمَالَهُمْ‏(9)
<font color="000000"><b>(9) That is because they hated what Allah revealed, so He rendered their deeds null.</b></font>
اَفَلَمْ يَسِيْرُوْا فِى الْاَرْضِ فَيَنْظُرُوْا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ‌ؕ دَمَّرَ اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلِلْكٰفِرِيْنَ اَمْثَالُهَا‏(10)
<font color="000000"><b>(10) Have they not then journeyed in the land and seen how was the end of those before them: Allah brought down destruction upon them, and the unbelievers shall have the like of it.</b></font>
ذٰ لِكَ بِاَنَّ اللّٰهَ مَوْلَى الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَاَنَّ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ لَا مَوْلٰى لَهُمْ‏(11)
<font color="000000"><b>(11) That is because Allah is the Protector of those who believe, and because the unbelievers shall have no protector for them.</b></font>
اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُدْخِلُ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ جَنّٰتٍ تَجْرِىْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ‌ ؕ وَالَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا يَتَمَتَّعُوْنَ وَيَاْكُلُوْنَ كَمَا تَاْكُلُ الْاَنْعَامُ وَالنَّارُ مَثْوًى لَّهُمْ‏(12)
<font color="000000"><b>(12) Surely Allah will make those who believe and do good enter gardens beneath which rivers flow; and those who disbelieve enjoy themselves and eat as the beasts eat, and the fire is their abode.</b></font>
وَكَاَيِّنْ مِّنْ قَرْيَةٍ هِىَ اَشَدُّ قُوَّةً مِّنْ قَرْيَتِكَ الَّتِىْۤ اَخْرَجَتْكَ‌ۚ اَهْلَكْنٰهُمْ فَلَا نَاصِرَ لَهُمْ‏(13)
<font color="000000"><b>(13) And how many a town which was far more powerful than the town of yours which has driven you out: We destroyed them so there was no helper for them.</b></font>
اَفَمَنْ كَانَ عَلٰى بَيِّنَةٍ مِّنْ رَّبِّهٖ كَمَنْ زُيِّنَ لَهٗ سُوْٓءُ عَمَلِهٖ وَاتَّبَعُوْۤا اَهْوَآءَهُمْ‏(14)
<font color="000000"><b>(14) What! is he who has a clear argument from his Lord like him to whom the evil of his work is made fairseeming: and they follow their low desires.</b></font>
مَثَلُ الْجَنَّةِ الَّتِىْ وُعِدَ الْمُتَّقُوْنَ‌ؕ فِيْهَاۤ اَنْهٰرٌ مِّنْ مَّآءٍ غَيْرِ اٰسِنٍ‌ ۚ وَاَنْهٰرٌ مِّنْ لَّبَنٍ لَّمْ يَتَغَيَّرْ طَعْمُهٗ ‌ۚ وَاَنْهٰرٌ مِّنْ خَمْرٍ لَّذَّةٍ لِّلشّٰرِبِيْنَ ۚ وَاَنْهٰرٌ مِّنْ عَسَلٍ مُّصَفًّى‌ ؕ وَلَهُمْ فِيْهَا مِنْ كُلِّ الثَّمَرٰتِ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ مِّنْ رَّبِّهِمْ‌ؕ كَمَنْ هُوَ خَالِدٌ فِى النَّارِ وَسُقُوْا مَآءً حَمِيْمًا فَقَطَّعَ اَمْعَآءَهُمْ‏(15)
<font color="000000"><b>(15) A parable of the garden which those guarding (against evil) are promised: Therein are rivers of water that does not alter, and rivers of milk the taste whereof does not change, and rivers of drink delicious to those who drink, and rivers of honey clarified and for them therein are all fruits and protection from their Lord. (Are these) like those who abide in the fire and who are made to drink boiling water so it rends their bowels asunder.</b></font>
وَمِنْهُمْ مَّنْ يَّسْتَمِعُ اِلَيْكَ‌ۚ حَتّٰٓى اِذَا خَرَجُوْا مِنْ عِنْدِكَ قَالُوْا لِلَّذِيْنَ اُوْتُوا الْعِلْمَ مَاذَا قَالَ اٰنِفًا‌‌ اُولٰٓئِكَ الَّذِيْنَ طَبَعَ اللّٰهُ عَلٰى قُلُوْبِهِمْ وَ اتَّبَعُوْۤا اَهْوَآءَهُمْ‏(16)
<font color="000000"><b>(16) And there are those of them who seek to listen to you, until when they go forth from you, they say to those who have been given the knowledge: What was it that he said just now? These are they upon whose hearts Allah has set a seal and they follow their low desires.</b></font>
وَالَّذِيْنَ اهْتَدَوْا زَادَهُمْ هُدًى وَّاٰتٰٮهُمْ تَقْوٰٮهُمْ‏(17)
<font color="000000"><b>(17) And (as for) those who follow the right direction, He increases them in guidance and gives them their guarding (against evil).</b></font>
فَهَلْ يَنْظُرُوْنَ اِلَّا السَّاعَةَ اَنْ تَاْتِيَهُمْ بَغْتَةً ‌ ۚ فَقَدْ جَآءَ اَشْرَاطُهَا‌‌ ۚ فَاَنّٰى لَهُمْ اِذَا جَآءَتْهُمْ ذِكْرٰٮهُمْ‏(18)
<font color="000000"><b>(18) Do they then wait for aught but the hour that it should come to them all of a sudden? Now indeed the tokens of it have (already) come, but how shall they have their reminder when it comes on them?</b></font>
فَاعْلَمْ اَنَّهٗ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللّٰهُ وَاسْتَغْفِرْ لِذَنْۢبِكَ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنٰتِ‌ ؕ وَاللّٰهُ يَعْلَمُ مُتَقَلَّبَكُمْ وَمَثْوٰٮكُمْ‏(19)
<font color="000000"><b>(19) So know that there is no god but Allah, and, ask protection for your fault and for the believing men and the believing women; and Allah knows the place of your returning and the place of your abiding.</b></font>
وَيَقُوْلُ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لَوْلَا نُزِّلَتْ سُوْرَةٌ ‌ۚ فَاِذَاۤ اُنْزِلَتْ سُوْرَةٌ مُّحْكَمَةٌ وَّذُكِرَ فِيْهَا الْقِتَالُ‌ۙ رَاَيْتَ الَّذِيْنَ فِىْ قُلُوْبِهِمْ مَّرَضٌ يَّنْظُرُوْنَ اِلَيْكَ نَظَرَ الْمَغْشِىِّ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْمَوْتِ‌ؕ فَاَوْلٰى لَهُمْ‌ۚ‏(20)
<font color="000000"><b>(20) And those who believe say: Why has not a chapter been revealed? But when a decisive chapter is revealed, and fighting is mentioned therein you see those in whose hearts is a disease look to you with the look of one fainting because of death. Woe to them then!</b></font>
طَاعَةٌ وَّقَوْلٌ مَّعْرُوْفٌ‌ فَاِذَا عَزَمَ الْاَمْرُ فَلَوْ صَدَقُوا اللّٰهَ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ‌ۚ‏(21)
<font color="000000"><b>(21) Obedience and a gentle word (was proper); but when the affair becomes settled, then if they remain true to Allah it would certainly be better for them.</b></font>
فَهَلْ عَسَيْتُمْ اِنْ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ اَنْ تُفْسِدُوْا فِى الْاَرْضِ وَتُقَطِّعُوْۤا اَرْحَامَكُمْ‏(22)
<font color="000000"><b>(22) But if you held command, you were sure to make mischief in the land and cut off the ties of kinship!</b></font>
اُولٰٓئِكَ الَّذِيْنَ لَعَنَهُمُ اللّٰهُ فَاَصَمَّهُمْ وَاَعْمٰٓى اَبْصَارَهُمْ‏(23)
<font color="000000"><b>(23) Those it is whom Allah has cursed so He has made them deaf and blinded their eyes.</b></font>
اَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُوْنَ الْقُرْاٰنَ اَمْ عَلٰى قُلُوْبٍ اَ قْفَالُهَا‏(24)
<font color="000000"><b>(24) Do they not then reflect on the Quran? Nay, on the hearts there are locks.</b></font>
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ ارْتَدُّوْا عَلٰٓى اَدْبَارِهِمْ مِّنْۢ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الْهُدَى‌ۙ الشَّيْطٰنُ سَوَّلَ لَهُمْ ؕ وَاَمْلٰى لَهُمْ‏(25)
<font color="000000"><b>(25) Surely (as for) those who return on their backs after that guidance has become manifest to them, the Shaitan has made it a light matter to them; and He gives them respite.</b></font>
ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهُمْ قَالُوْا لِلَّذِيْنَ كَرِهُوْا مَا نَزَّلَ اللّٰهُ سَنُطِيْعُكُمْ فِىْ بَعْضِ الْاَمْرِۖۚ وَاللّٰهُ يَعْلَمُ اِسْرَارَهُمْ‏(26)
<font color="000000"><b>(26) That is because they say to those who hate what Allah has revealed: We will obey you in some of the affairs; and Allah knows their secrets.</b></font>
فَكَيْفَ اِذَا تَوَفَّتْهُمُ الْمَلٰٓئِكَةُ يَضْرِبُوْنَ وُجُوْهَهُمْ وَاَدْبَارَهُمْ‏(27)
<font color="000000"><b>(27) But how will it be when the angels cause them to die smiting their backs.</b></font>
ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهُمُ اتَّبَعُوْا مَاۤ اَسْخَطَ اللّٰهَ وَكَرِهُوْا رِضْوَانَهٗ فَاَحْبَطَ اَعْمَالَهُمْ‏(28)
<font color="000000"><b>(28) That is because they follow what is displeasing to Allah and are averse to His pleasure, therefore He has made null their deeds.</b></font>
اَمْ حَسِبَ الَّذِيْنَ فِىْ قُلُوْبِهِمْ مَّرَضٌ اَنْ لَّنْ يُّخْرِجَ اللّٰهُ اَضْغَانَهُمْ‏(29)
<font color="000000"><b>(29) Or do those in whose hearts is a disease think that Allah will not bring forth their spite?</b></font>
وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَاَرَيْنٰكَهُمْ فَلَعَرَفْتَهُمْ بِسِيْمٰهُمْ‌ؕ وَلَتَعْرِفَنَّهُمْ فِىْ لَحْنِ الْقَوْلِ‌ؕ وَاللّٰهُ يَعْلَمُ اَعْمَالَكُمْ‏(30)
<font color="000000"><b>(30) And if We please We would have made you know them so that you would certainly have recognized them by their marks and most certainly you can recognize them by the intent of (their) speech; and Allah knows your deeds.</b></font>
وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ حَتّٰى نَعْلَمَ الْمُجٰهِدِيْنَ مِنْكُمْ وَالصّٰبِرِيْنَ ۙ وَنَبْلُوَاۡ اَخْبَارَكُمْ‏(31)
<font color="000000"><b>(31) And most certainly We will try you until We have known those among you who exert themselves hard, and the patient, and made your case manifest.</b></font>
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا وَصَدُّوْا عَنْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ وَشَآقُّوا الرَّسُوْلَ مِنْۢ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الْهُدٰىۙ لَنْ يَّضُرُّوا اللّٰهَ شَيْئًا ؕ وَسَيُحْبِطُ اَعْمَالَهُمْ‏(32)
<font color="000000"><b>(32) Surely those who disbelieve and turn away from Allah's way and oppose the Apostle after that guidance has become clear to them cannot harm Allah in any way, and He will make null their deeds.</b></font>
يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْۤا اَطِيْعُوا اللّٰهَ وَاَطِيْعُوا الرَّسُوْلَ وَلَا تُبْطِلُوْۤا اَعْمَالَكُمْ‏(33)
<font color="000000"><b>(33) O you who believe! obey Allah and obey the Apostle, and do not make your deeds of no effect.</b></font>
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا وَصَدُّوْا عَنْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ ثُمَّ مَاتُوْا وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ فَلَنْ يَّغْفِرَ اللّٰهُ لَهُمْ‏(34)
<font color="000000"><b>(34) Surely those who disbelieve and turn away from Allah's way, then they die while they are unbelievers, Allah will by no means forgive them.</b></font>
فَلَا تَهِنُوْا وَتَدْعُوْۤا اِلَى السَّلْمِ‌ۖ وَاَنْتُمُ الْاَعْلَوْنَ‌ۖ وَاللّٰهُ مَعَكُمْ وَلَنْ يَّتِرَكُمْ اَعْمَالَكُمْ‏(35)
<font color="000000"><b>(35) And be not slack so as to cry for peace and you have the upper hand, and Allah is with you, and He will not bring your deeds to naught.</b></font>
اِنَّمَا الْحَيٰوةُ الدُّنْيَا لَعِبٌ وَّلَهْوٌ‌ ؕ وَاِنْ تُؤْمِنُوْا وَتَتَّقُوْا يُؤْتِكُمْ اُجُوْرَكُمْ وَلَا يَسْئَلْكُمْ اَمْوَالَكُمْ‏(36)
<font color="000000"><b>(36) The life of this world is only idle sport and play, and if you believe and guard (against evil) He will give you your rewards, and will not ask of you your possessions.</b></font>
اِنْ يَّسْئَلْكُمُوْهَا فَيُحْفِكُمْ تَبْخَلُوْا وَيُخْرِجْ اَضْغَانَكُمْ‏(37)
<font color="000000"><b>(37) If He should ask you for it and urge you, you will be niggardly, and He will bring forth your malice.</b></font>
هٰۤاَنْتُمْ هٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ تُدْعَوْنَ لِتُنْفِقُوْا فِىْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ ‌ۚ فَمِنْكُمْ مَّنْ يَّبْخَلُ ‌ ۚ وَمَنْ يَّبْخَلْ فَاِنَّمَا يَبْخَلُ عَنْ نَّفْسِهٖ‌ ؕ وَاللّٰهُ الْغَنِىُّ وَاَنْتُمُ الْفُقَرَآءُ ‌ۚ وَاِنْ تَتَوَلَّوْا يَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْمًا غَيْرَكُمْ ۙ ثُمَّ لَا يَكُوْنُوْۤا اَمْثَالَكُم‏(38)
<font color="000000"><b>(38) Behold! you are those who are called upon to spend in Allah's way, but among you are those who are niggardly, and whoever is niggardly is niggardly against his own soul; and Allah is Self-sufficient and you have need (of Him), and if you turn back He will bring in your place another people, then they will not be like you.</b></font>
SURAH AL-FATH (THE VICTORY)
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
اِنَّا فَتَحْنَا لَكَ فَتْحًا مُّبِيْنًا ۙ‏(1)
<font color="000000"><b>(1) Surely We have given to you a clear victory</b></font>
لِّيَغْفِرَ لَكَ اللّٰهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْۢبِكَ وَ مَا تَاَخَّرَ وَيُتِمَّ نِعْمَتَهٗ عَلَيْكَ وَيَهْدِيَكَ صِرَاطًا مُّسْتَقِيْمًا ۙ‏(2)
<font color="000000"><b>(2) That Allah may forgive your community their past faults and those to follow and complete His favor to you and keep you on a right way,</b></font>
وَّ يَنْصُرَكَ اللّٰهُ نَصْرًا عَزِيْزًا‏(3)
<font color="000000"><b>(3) And that Allah might help you with a mighty help.</b></font>
هُوَ الَّذِىْۤ اَنْزَلَ السَّكِيْنَةَ فِىْ قُلُوْبِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ لِيَزْدَادُوْۤا اِيْمَانًا مَّعَ اِيْمَانِهِمْ‌ ؕ وَلِلّٰهِ جُنُوْدُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ‌ؕ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ عَلِيْمًا حَكِيْمًا ۙ‏(4)
<font color="000000"><b>(4) He it is Who sent down tranquillity into the hearts of the believers that they might have more of faith added to their faith-- and Allah's are the hosts of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is Knowing, Wise--</b></font>
لِّيُدْخِلَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنٰتِ جَنّٰتٍ تَجْرِىْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ خٰلِدِيْنَ فِيْهَا وَيُكَفِّرَ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّاٰتِهِمْ‌ؕ وَكَانَ ذٰ لِكَ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ فَوْزًا عَظِيْمًا ۙ‏(5)
<font color="000000"><b>(5) That He may cause the believing men and the believing women to enter gardens beneath which rivers flow to abide therein and remove from them their evil; and that is a grand achievement with Allah</b></font>
وَّيُعَذِّبَ الْمُنٰفِقِيْنَ وَالْمُنٰفِقٰتِ وَالْمُشْرِكِيْنَ وَ الْمُشْرِكٰتِ الظَّآنِّيْنَ بِاللّٰهِ ظَنَّ السَّوْءِ‌ؕ عَلَيْهِمْ دَآئِرَةُ السَّوْءِ‌ ۚ وَ غَضِبَ اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَعَنَهُمْ وَاَعَدَّ لَهُمْ جَهَنَّمَؕ وَسَآءَتْ مَصِيْرًا‏(6)
<font color="000000"><b>(6) And (that) He may punish the hypocritical men and the hypocritical women, and the polytheistic men and the polytheistic women, the entertainers of evil thoughts about Allah. On them is the evil turn, and Allah is wroth with them and has cursed them and prepared hell for them, and evil is the resort.</b></font>
وَلِلّٰهِ جُنُوْدُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ‌ؕ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ عَزِيْزًا حَكِيْمًا‏(7)
<font color="000000"><b>(7) And Allah's are the hosts of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is Mighty, Wise.</b></font>
اِنَّاۤ اَرْسَلْنٰكَ شَاهِدًا وَّمُبَشِّرًا وَّنَذِيْرًا ۙ‏(8)
<font color="000000"><b>(8) Surely We have sent you as a witness and as a bearer of good news and as a warner,</b></font>
لِّتُؤْمِنُوْا بِاللّٰهِ وَ رَسُوْلِهٖ وَتُعَزِّرُوْهُ وَتُوَقِّرُوْهُ ؕ وَتُسَبِّحُوْهُ بُكْرَةً وَّاَصِيْلًا‏(9)
<font color="000000"><b>(9) That you may believe in Allah and His Apostle and may aid him and revere him; and (that) you may declare His glory, morning and evening.</b></font>
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ يُبَايِعُوْنَكَ اِنَّمَا يُبَايِعُوْنَ اللّٰهَ ؕ يَدُ اللّٰهِ فَوْقَ اَيْدِيْهِمْ‌ ۚ فَمَنْ نَّكَثَ فَاِنَّمَا يَنْكُثُ عَلٰى نَفْسِهٖ‌ۚ وَمَنْ اَوْفٰى بِمَا عٰهَدَ عَلَيْهُ اللّٰهَ فَسَيُؤْتِيْهِ اَجْرًا عَظِيْمًا‏(10)
<font color="000000"><b>(10) Surely those who swear allegiance to you do but swear allegiance to Allah; the hand of Allah is above their hands. Therefore whoever breaks (his faith), he breaks it only to the injury of his own soul, and whoever fulfills what he has covenanted with Allah, He will grant him a mighty reward.</b></font>
سَيَقُوْلُ لَكَ الْمُخَلَّفُوْنَ مِنَ الْاَعْرَابِ شَغَلَتْنَاۤ اَمْوَالُنَا وَاَهْلُوْنَا فَاسْتَغْفِرْ لَنَا‌ ۚ يَقُوْلُوْنَ بِاَلْسِنَتِهِمْ مَّا لَيْسَ فِىْ قُلُوْبِهِمْ‌ؕ قُلْ فَمَنْ يَّمْلِكُ لَكُمْ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ شَيْئًا اِنْ اَرَادَ بِكُمْ ضَرًّا اَوْ اَرَادَ بِكُمْ نَفْعًا ‌ؕ بَلْ كَانَ اللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ خَبِيْرًا‏(11)
<font color="000000"><b>(11) Those of the dwellers of the desert who were left behind will say to you: Our property and our families kept us busy, so ask forgiveness for us. They say with their tongues what is not in their hearts. Say: Then who can control anything for you from Allah if He intends to do you harm or if He intends to do you good; nay, Allah is Aware of what you do:</b></font>
بَلْ ظَنَنْتُمْ اَنْ لَّنْ يَّنْقَلِبَ الرَّسُوْلُ وَالْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ اِلٰٓى اَهْلِيْهِمْ اَبَدًا وَّزُيِّنَ ذٰ لِكَ فِىْ قُلُوْبِكُمْ وَظَنَنْتُمْ ظَنَّ السَّوْءِ ۖۚ وَكُنْتُمْ قَوْمًا ۢ بُوْرًا‏(12)
<font color="000000"><b>(12) Nay! you rather thought that the Apostle and the believers would not return to their families ever, and that was made fairseeming to your hearts and you thought an evil thought and you were a people doomed to perish.</b></font>
وَمَنْ لَّمْ يُؤْمِنْۢ بِاللّٰهِ وَرَسُوْلِهٖ فَاِنَّاۤ اَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكٰفِرِيْنَ سَعِيْرًا‏(13)
<font color="000000"><b>(13) And whoever does not believe in Allah and His Apostle, then surely We have prepared burning fire for the unbelievers.</b></font>
وَلِلّٰهِ مُلْكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ‌ؕ يَغْفِرُ لِمَنْ يَّشَآءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَنْ يَّشَآءُ‌ ؕ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ غَفُوْرًا رَّحِيْمًا‏(14)
<font color="000000"><b>(14) And Allah's is the kingdom. of the heavens and the earth; He forgives whom He pleases and punishes whom He pleases, and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.</b></font>
سَيَقُوْلُ الْمُخَلَّفُوْنَ اِذَا انْطَلَقْتُمْ اِلٰى مَغَانِمَ لِتَاْخُذُوْهَا ذَرُوْنَا نَتَّبِعْكُمْ‌ ۚ يُرِيْدُوْنَ اَنْ يُّبَدِّلُوْا كَلٰمَ اللّٰهِ‌ ؕ قُلْ لَّنْ تَتَّبِعُوْنَا كَذٰلِكُمْ قَالَ اللّٰهُ مِنْ قَبْلُ‌ ۚ فَسَيَقُوْلُوْنَ بَلْ تَحْسُدُوْنَنَا‌ ؕ بَلْ كَانُوْا لَا يَفْقَهُوْنَ اِلَّا قَلِيْلًا‏(15)
<font color="000000"><b>(15) Those who are left behind will say when you set forth for the gaining of acquisitions: Allow us (that) we may follow you. They desire to change the world of Allah. Say: By no means shall you follow us; thus did Allah say before. But they will say: Nay! you are jealous of us. Nay! they do not understand but a little.</b></font>
قُلْ لِّلْمُخَلَّفِيْنَ مِنَ الْاَعْرَابِ سَتُدْعَوْنَ اِلٰى قَوْمٍ اُولِىْ بَاْسٍ شَدِيْدٍ تُقَاتِلُوْنَهُمْ اَوْ يُسْلِمُوْنَ‌ ۚ فَاِنْ تُطِيْعُوْا يُؤْتِكُمُ اللّٰهُ اَجْرًا حَسَنًا‌ ۚ وَاِنْ تَتَوَلَّوْا كَمَا تَوَلَّيْتُمْ مِّنْ قَبْلُ يُعَذِّبْكُمْ عَذَابًا اَ لِيْمًا‏(16)
<font color="000000"><b>(16) Say to those of the dwellers of the desert who were left behind: You shall soon be invited (to fight) against a people possessing mighty prowess; you will fight against them until they submit; then if you obey, Allah will grant you a good reward; and if you turn back as you turned back before, He will punish you with a painful punishment.</b></font>
لَيْسَ عَلَى الْاَعْمٰى حَرَجٌ وَّلَا عَلَى الْاَعْرَجِ حَرَجٌ وَّلَا عَلَى الْمَرِيْضِ حَرَجٌ‌ ؕ وَمَنْ يُّطِعِ اللّٰهَ وَرَسُوْلَهٗ يُدْخِلْهُ جَنّٰتٍ تَجْرِىْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ‌‌ۚوَمَنْ يَّتَوَلَّ يُعَذِّبْهُ عَذَابًا اَلِيْمًا‏(17)
<font color="000000"><b>(17) There is no harm in the blind, nor is there any harm in the lame, nor is there any harm in the sick (if they do not go forth); and whoever obeys Allah and His Apostle, He will cause him to enter gardens beneath which rivers flow, and whoever turns back, He will punish him with a painful punishment.</b></font>
لَقَدْ رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَنِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ اِذْ يُبَايِعُوْنَكَ تَحْتَ الشَّجَرَةِ فَعَلِمَ مَا فِىْ قُلُوْبِهِمْ فَاَنْزَلَ السَّكِيْنَةَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَاَثَابَهُمْ فَتْحًا قَرِيْبًا ۙ‏(18)
<font color="000000"><b>(18) Certainly Allah was well pleased with the believers when they swore allegiance to you under the tree, and He knew what was in their hearts, so He sent down tranquillity on them and rewarded them with a near victory,</b></font>
وَّمَغَانِمَ كَثِيْرَةً يَّاْخُذُوْنَهَا ‌ؕ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ عَزِيْزًا حَكِيْمًا‏(19)
<font color="000000"><b>(19) And many acquisitions which they will take; and Allah is Mighty, Wise.</b></font>
وَعَدَكُمُ اللّٰهُ مَغَانِمَ كَثِيْرَةً تَاْخُذُوْنَهَا فَعَجَّلَ لَكُمْ هٰذِهٖ وَكَفَّ اَيْدِىَ النَّاسِ عَنْكُمْ‌ۚ وَلِتَكُوْنَ اٰيَةً لِّلْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَيَهْدِيَكُمْ صِرَاطًا مُّسْتَقِيْمًاۙ‏(20)
<font color="000000"><b>(20) Allah promised you many acquisitions which you will take, then He hastened on this one for you and held back the hands of men from you, and that it may be a sign for the believers and that He may guide you on a right path.</b></font>
وَّاُخْرٰى لَمْ تَقْدِرُوْا عَلَيْهَا قَدْ اَحَاطَ اللّٰهُ بِهَا‌ؕ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيْرًا‏(21)
<font color="000000"><b>(21) And others which you have not yet been able to achieve Allah has surely encompassed them, and Allah has power over all things.</b></font>
وَلَوْ قَاتَلَكُمُ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا لَوَلَّوُا الْاَدْبَارَ ثُمَّ لَا يَجِدُوْنَ وَلِيًّا وَّلَا نَصِيْرًا‏(22)
<font color="000000"><b>(22) And if those who disbelieve fight with you, they would certainly turn (their) backs, then they would not find any protector or a helper.</b></font>
سُنَّةَ اللّٰهِ الَّتِىْ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلُ ۖۚ وَلَنْ تَجِدَ لِسُنَّةِ اللّٰهِ تَبْدِيْلًا‏(23)
<font color="000000"><b>(23) Such has been the course of Allah that has indeed run before, and you shall not find a change in Allah's course.</b></font>
وَهُوَ الَّذِىْ كَفَّ اَيْدِيَهُمْ عَنْكُمْ وَاَيْدِيَكُمْ عَنْهُمْ بِبَطْنِ مَكَّةَ مِنْۢ بَعْدِ اَنْ اَظْفَرَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ‌ؕ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ بَصِيْرًا‏(24)
<font color="000000"><b>(24) And He it is Who held back their hands from you and your hands from them in the valley of Mecca after He had given you victory over them; and Allah is Seeing what you do.</b></font>
هُمُ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا وَصَدُّوْكُمْ عَنِ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَالْهَدْىَ مَعْكُوْفًا اَنْ يَّبْلُغَ مَحِلَّهٗ‌ ؕ وَلَوْلَا رِجَالٌ مُّؤْمِنُوْنَ وَنِسَآءٌ مُّؤْمِنٰتٌ لَّمْ تَعْلَمُوْهُمْ اَنْ تَطَئُوْ هُمْ فَتُصِيْبَكُمْ مِّنْهُمْ مَّعَرَّةٌ ۢ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ ۚ ‌لِيُدْخِلَ اللّٰهُ فِىْ رَحْمَتِهٖ مَنْ يَّشَآءُ‌ ۚ لَوْ تَزَيَّلُوْا لَعَذَّبْنَا الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْهُمْ عَذَابًا اَ لِيْمًا‏(25)
<font color="000000"><b>(25) It is they who disbelieved and turned you away from the Sacred Mosque and (turned off) the offering withheld from arriving at its destined place; and were it not for the believing men and the believing women, whom, not having known, you might have trodden down, and thus something hateful might have afflicted you on their account without knowledge-- so that Allah may cause to enter into His mercy whomsoever He pleases; had they been widely separated one from another, We would surely have punished those who disbelieved from among them with a painful punishment.</b></font>
اِذْ جَعَلَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا فِىْ قُلُوْبِهِمُ الْحَمِيَّةَ حَمِيَّةَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَاَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ سَكِيْنَتَهٗ عَلٰى رَسُوْلِهٖ وَعَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَاَلْزَمَهُمْ كَلِمَةَ التَّقْوٰى وَ كَانُوْۤا اَحَقَّ بِهَا وَاَهْلَهَا‌ؕ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيْمًا‏(26)
<font color="000000"><b>(26) When those who disbelieved harbored in their hearts (feelings of) disdain, the disdain of (the days of) ignorance, but Allah sent down His tranquillity on His Apostle and on the believers, and made them keep the word of guarding (against evil), and they were entitled to it and worthy of it; and Allah is Cognizant of all things.</b></font>
لَقَدْ صَدَقَ اللّٰهُ رَسُوْلَهُ الرُّءْيَا بِالْحَقِّ‌ ۚ لَتَدْخُلُنَّ الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ اِنْ شَآءَ اللّٰهُ اٰمِنِيْنَۙ مُحَلِّقِيْنَ رُءُوْسَكُمْ وَمُقَصِّرِيْنَۙ لَا تَخَافُوْنَ‌ؕ فَعَلِمَ مَا لَمْ تَعْلَمُوْا فَجَعَلَ مِنْ دُوْنِ ذٰلِكَ فَتْحًا قَرِيْبًا‏(27)
<font color="000000"><b>(27) Certainly Allah had shown to His Apostle the vision with truth: you shall most certainly enter the Sacred Mosque, if Allah pleases, in security, (some) having their heads shaved and (others) having their hair cut, you shall not fear, but He knows what you do not know, so He brought about a near victory before that.</b></font>
هُوَ الَّذِىْۤ اَرْسَلَ رَسُوْلَهٗ بِالْهُدٰى وَدِيْنِ الْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهٗ عَلَى الدِّيْنِ كُلِّهٖ‌ؕ وَكَفٰى بِاللّٰهِ شَهِيْدًا ؕ‏(28)
<font color="000000"><b>(28) He it is Who sent His Apostle with the guidance and the true religion that He may make it prevail over all the religions; and Allah is enough for a witness.</b></font>
مُحَمَّدٌ رَّسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ‌ ؕ وَالَّذِيْنَ مَعَهٗۤ اَشِدَّآءُ عَلَى الْكُفَّارِ رُحَمَآءُ بَيْنَهُمْ ‌ تَرٰٮهُمْ رُكَّعًا سُجَّدًا يَّبْتَغُوْنَ فَضْلًا مِّنَ اللّٰهِ وَرِضْوَانًا‌سِيْمَاهُمْ فِىْ وُجُوْهِهِمْ مِّنْ اَثَرِ السُّجُوْدِ‌ ؕ ذٰ لِكَ مَثَلُهُمْ فِى التَّوْرٰٮةِ ۛ ۖۚ وَمَثَلُهُمْ فِى الْاِنْجِيْلِ ۛۚ كَزَرْعٍ اَخْرَجَ شَطْئَهٗ فَاٰزَرَهٗ فَاسْتَغْلَظَ فَاسْتَوٰى عَلٰى سُوْقِهٖ يُعْجِبُ الزُّرَّاعَ لِيَغِيْظَ بِهِمُ الْكُفَّارَ‌ ؕ وَعَدَ اللّٰهُ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ مِنْهُمْ مَّغْفِرَةً وَّاَجْرًا عَظِيْمًا‏(29)
<font color="000000"><b>(29) Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah, and those with him are firm of heart against the unbelievers, compassionate among themselves; you will see them bowing down, prostrating themselves, seeking grace from Allah and pleasure; their marks are in their faces because of the effect of prostration; that is their description in the Taurat and their description in the Injeel; like as seed-produce that puts forth its sprout, then strengthens it, so it becomes stout and stands firmly on its stem, delighting the sowers that He may enrage the unbelievers on account of them; Allah has promised those among them who believe and do good, forgiveness and a great reward.</b></font>
SURAH AL-HUJURAAT (THE CHAMBERS)
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لَا تُقَدِّمُوْا بَيْنَ يَدَىِ اللّٰهِ وَرَسُوْلِهٖ‌ وَ اتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ‌ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ سَمِيْعٌ عَلِيْمٌ‏(1)
<font color="000000"><b>(1) O you who believe! be not forward in the presence of Allah and His Apostle, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah; surely Allah is Hearing, Knowing.</b></font>
يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لَا تَرْفَعُوْۤا اَصْوَاتَكُمْ فَوْقَ صَوْتِ النَّبِىِّ وَلَا تَجْهَرُوْا لَهٗ بِالْقَوْلِ كَجَهْرِ بَعْضِكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ اَنْ تَحْبَطَ اَعْمَالُكُمْ وَاَنْتُمْ لَا تَشْعُرُوْنَ‏(2)
<font color="000000"><b>(2) O you who believe! do not raise your voices above the voice of the Prophet, and do not speak loud to him as you speak loud to one another, lest your deeds became null while you do not perceive.</b></font>
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ يَغُضُّوْنَ اَصْوَاتَهُمْ عِنْدَ رَسُوْلِ اللّٰهِ اُولٰٓئِكَ الَّذِيْنَ امْتَحَنَ اللّٰهُ قُلُوْبَهُمْ لِلتَّقْوٰى‌ؕ لَهُمْ مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَّاَجْرٌ عَظِيْمٌ‏(3)
<font color="000000"><b>(3) Surely those who lower their voices before Allah's Apostle are they whose hearts Allah has proved for guarding (against evil); they shall have forgiveness and a great reward.</b></font>
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ يُنَادُوْنَكَ مِنْ وَّرَآءِ الْحُجُرٰتِ اَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُوْنَ‏(4)
<font color="000000"><b>(4) (As for) those who call out to you from behind the private chambers, surely most of them do not understand.</b></font>
وَلَوْ اَنَّهُمْ صَبَرُوْا حَتّٰى تَخْرُجَ اِلَيْهِمْ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ‌ؕ وَاللّٰهُ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ‏(5)
<font color="000000"><b>(5) And if they wait patiently until you come out to them, it would certainly be better for them, and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.</b></font>
يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْۤا اِنْ جَآءَكُمْ فَاسِقٌ ۢ بِنَبَاٍ فَتَبَيَّنُوْۤا اَنْ تُصِيْبُوْا قَوْمًا ۢ بِجَهَالَةٍ فَتُصْبِحُوْا عَلٰى مَا فَعَلْتُمْ نٰدِمِيْنَ‏(6)
<font color="000000"><b>(6) O you who believe! if an evil-doer comes to you with a report, look carefully into it, lest you harm a people in ignorance, then be sorry for what you have done.</b></font>
وَاعْلَمُوْۤا اَنَّ فِيْكُمْ رَسُوْلَ اللّٰهِ‌ؕ لَوْ يُطِيْعُكُمْ فِىْ كَثِيْرٍ مِّنَ الْاَمْرِ لَعَنِتُّمْ وَ لٰكِنَّ اللّٰهَ حَبَّبَ اِلَيْكُمُ الْاِيْمَانَ وَزَيَّنَهٗ فِىْ قُلُوْبِكُمْ وَكَرَّهَ اِلَيْكُمُ الْكُفْرَ وَالْفُسُوْقَ وَالْعِصْيَانَ‌ؕ اُولٰٓئِكَ هُمُ الرّٰشِدُوْنَۙ‏(7)
<font color="000000"><b>(7) And know that among you is Allah's Apostle; should he obey you in many a matter, you would surely fall into distress, but Allah has endeared the faith to you and has made it seemly in your hearts, and He has made hateful to you unbelief and transgression and disobedience; these it is that are the followers of a right way.</b></font>
فَضْلًا مِّنَ اللّٰهِ وَنِعْمَةً  ؕ وَاللّٰهُ عَلِيْمٌ حَكِيْمٌ‏(8)
<font color="000000"><b>(8) By grace from Allah and as a favor; and Allah is Knowing, Wise.</b></font>
وَاِنْ طَآئِفَتٰنِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ اقْتَتَلُوْا فَاَصْلِحُوْا بَيْنَهُمَا‌ۚ فَاِنْۢ بَغَتْ اِحْدٰٮهُمَا عَلَى الْاُخْرٰى فَقَاتِلُوا الَّتِىْ تَبْغِىْ حَتّٰى تَفِىْٓءَ اِلٰٓى اَمْرِ اللّٰهِ ‌ۚ فَاِنْ فَآءَتْ فَاَصْلِحُوْا بَيْنَهُمَا بِالْعَدْلِ وَاَقْسِطُوْا ؕ‌ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُقْسِطِيْنَ‏(9)
<font color="000000"><b>(9) And if two parties of the believers quarrel, make peace between them; but if one of them acts wrongfully towards the other, fight that which acts wrongfully until it returns to Allah's command; then if it returns, make peace between them with justice and act equitably; surely Allah loves those who act equitably.</b></font>
اِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ اِخْوَةٌ فَاَصْلِحُوْا بَيْنَ اَخَوَيْكُمْ ‌ۚ‌وَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُوْنَ ‏(10)
<font color="000000"><b>(10) The believers are but brethren, therefore make peace between your brethren and be careful of (your duty to) Allah that mercy may be had on you.</b></font>
يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لَا يَسْخَرْ قَوْمٌ مِّنْ قَوْمٍ عَسٰٓى اَنْ يَّكُوْنُوْا خَيْرًا مِّنْهُمْ وَلَا نِسَآءٌ مِّنْ نِّسَآءٍ عَسٰٓى اَنْ يَّكُنَّ خَيْرًا مِّنْهُنَّ‌ۚ وَلَا تَلْمِزُوْۤا اَنْفُسَكُمْ وَلَا تَنَابَزُوْا بِالْاَلْقَابِ‌ؕ بِئْسَ الِاسْمُ الْفُسُوْقُ بَعْدَ الْاِيْمَانِ‌ ۚ وَمَنْ لَّمْ يَتُبْ فَاُولٰٓئِكَ هُمُ الظّٰلِمُوْنَ‏(11)
<font color="000000"><b>(11) O you who believe! let not (one) people laugh at (another) people perchance they may be better than they, nor let women (laugh) at (other) women, perchance they may be better than they; and do not find fault with your own people nor call one another by nicknames; evil is a bad name after faith, and whoever does not turn, these it is that are the unjust.</b></font>
يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوا اجْتَنِبُوْا كَثِيْرًا مِّنَ الظَّنِّ اِنَّ بَعْضَ الظَّنِّ اِثْمٌ‌ وَّلَا تَجَسَّسُوْا وَلَا يَغْتَبْ بَّعْضُكُمْ بَعْضًا‌ ؕ اَ يُحِبُّ اَحَدُكُمْ اَنْ يَّاْكُلَ لَحْمَ اَخِيْهِ مَيْتًا فَكَرِهْتُمُوْهُ‌ ؕ وَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ‌ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ تَوَّابٌ رَّحِيْمٌ‏(12)
<font color="000000"><b>(12) O you who believe! avoid most of suspicion, for surely suspicion in some cases is a sin, and do not spy nor let some of you backbite others. Does one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? But you abhor it; and be careful of (your duty to) Allah, surely Allah is Oft-returning (to mercy), Merciful.</b></font>
يٰۤاَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اِنَّا خَلَقْنٰكُمْ مِّنْ ذَكَرٍ وَّاُنْثٰى وَجَعَلْنٰكُمْ شُعُوْبًا وَّقَبَآئِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوْا‌ ؕ اِنَّ اَكْرَمَكُمْ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ اَ تْقٰٮكُمْ‌ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلِيْمٌ خَبِيْرٌ‏(13)
<font color="000000"><b>(13) O you men! surely We have created you of a male and a female, and made you tribes and families that you may know each other; surely the most honorable of you with Allah is the one among you most careful (of his duty); surely Allah is Knowing, Aware.</b></font>
قَالَتِ الْاَعْرَابُ اٰمَنَّا‌ ؕ قُلْ لَّمْ تُؤْمِنُوْا وَلٰكِنْ قُوْلُوْۤا اَسْلَمْنَا وَلَمَّا يَدْخُلِ الْاِيْمَانُ فِىْ قُلُوْبِكُمْ‌ ۚ وَاِنْ تُطِيْعُوا اللّٰهَ وَرَسُوْلَهٗ لَا يَلِتْكُمْ مِّنْ اَعْمَالِكُمْ شَيْئًا‌ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ‏(14)
<font color="000000"><b>(14) The dwellers of the desert say: We believe. Say: You do not believe but say, We submit; and faith has not yet entered into your hearts; and if you obey Allah and His Apostle, He will not diminish aught of your deeds; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.</b></font>
اِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا بِاللّٰهِ وَرَسُوْلِهٖ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَرْتَابُوْا وَجَاهَدُوْا بِاَمْوَالِهِمْ وَاَنْفُسِهِمْ فِىْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ‌ ؕ اُولٰٓئِكَ هُمُ الصّٰدِقُوْنَ‏(15)
<font color="000000"><b>(15) The believers are only those who believe in Allah and His Apostle then they doubt not and struggle hard with their wealth and their lives in the way of Allah; they are the truthful ones.</b></font>
قُلْ اَ تُعَلِّمُوْنَ اللّٰهَ بِدِيْنِكُمْ ؕ وَاللّٰهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِى الْاَرْضِ‌ؕ وَاللّٰهُ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيْمٌ‏(16)
<font color="000000"><b>(16) Say: Do you apprise Allah of your religion, and Allah knows what is in the heavens and what is in the earth; and Allah is Cognizant of all things.</b></font>
يَمُنُّوْنَ عَلَيْكَ اَنْ اَسْلَمُوْا‌ ؕ قُلْ لَّا تَمُنُّوْا عَلَىَّ اِسْلَامَكُمْ‌ ۚ بَلِ اللّٰهُ يَمُنُّ عَلَيْكُمْ اَنْ هَدٰٮكُمْ لِلْاِيْمَانِ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِيْنَ‏(17)
<font color="000000"><b>(17) They think that they lay you under an obligation by becoming Muslims. Say: Lay me not under obligation by your Islam: rather Allah lays you under an obligation by guiding you to the faith if you are truthful.</b></font>
اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يَعْلَمُ غَيْبَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ‌ؕ وَاللّٰهُ بَصِيْرٌۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ‏(18)
<font color="000000"><b>(18) Surely Allah knows the unseen things of the heavens and the earth; and Allah sees what you do.</b></font>
SURAH QAF
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
قٓۚ وَالْقُرْاٰنِ الْمَجِيْدِۚ‏(1)
<font color="000000"><b>(1) Qaf. I swear by the glorious Quran (that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah)</b></font>
بَلْ عَجِبُوْۤا اَنْ جَآءَهُمْ مُّنْذِرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَقَالَ الْكٰفِرُوْنَ هٰذَا شَىْءٌ عَجِيْبٌ‌ۚ‏(2)
<font color="000000"><b>(2) Nay! they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, so the unbelievers say: This is a wonderful thing:</b></font>
ءَاِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا ‌ۚ ذٰ لِكَ رَجْعٌ ۢ بَعِيْدٌ‏(3)
<font color="000000"><b>(3) What! when we are dead and have become dust? That is afar (from probable) return.</b></font>
قَدْ عَلِمْنَا مَا تَنْقُصُ الْاَرْضُ مِنْهُمْ‌ۚ وَعِنْدَنَا كِتٰبٌ حَفِيْظٌ‏(4)
<font color="000000"><b>(4) We know indeed what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a writing that preserves.</b></font>
بَلْ كَذَّبُوْا بِالْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَهُمْ فَهُمْ فِىْۤ اَمْرٍ مَّرِيْجٍ‏(5)
<font color="000000"><b>(5) Nay, they rejected the truth when it came to them, so they are (now) in a state of confusion.</b></font>
اَ فَلَمْ يَنْظُرُوْۤا اِلَى السَّمَآءِ فَوْقَهُمْ كَيْفَ بَنَيْنٰهَا وَزَ يَّنّٰهَا وَمَا لَهَا مِنْ فُرُوْجٍ‏(6)
<font color="000000"><b>(6) Do they not then look up to heaven above them how We have made it and adorned it and it has no gaps?</b></font>
وَالْاَرْضَ مَدَدْنٰهَا وَاَ لْقَيْنَا فِيْهَا رَوَاسِىَ وَاَنْۢبَتْنَا فِيْهَا مِنْ كُلِّ زَوْجٍۢ بَهِيْجٍ ۙ‏(7)
<font color="000000"><b>(7) And the earth, We have made it plain and cast in it mountains and We have made to grow therein of all beautiful kinds,</b></font>
تَبْصِرَةً وَّذِكْرٰى لِكُلِّ عَبْدٍ مُّنِيْبٍ‏(8)
<font color="000000"><b>(8) To give sight and as a reminder to every servant who turns frequently (to Allah).</b></font>
وَنَزَّلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَآءِ مَآءً مُّبٰرَكًا فَاَنْۢبَتْنَا بِهٖ جَنّٰتٍ وَّحَبَّ الْحَصِيْدِ ۙ‏(9)
<font color="000000"><b>(9) And We send down from the cloud water abounding in good, then We cause to grow thereby gardens and the grain that is reaped,</b></font>
وَالنَّخْلَ بٰسِقٰتٍ لَّهَا طَلْعٌ نَّضِيْدٌ ۙ‏(10)
<font color="000000"><b>(10) And the tall palm-trees having spadices closely set one above another,</b></font>
رِّزْقًا لِّلْعِبَادِ‌ ۙ وَاَحْيَيْنَا بِهٖ بَلْدَةً مَّيْتًا‌ ؕ كَذٰلِكَ الْخُرُوْجُ‏(11)
<font color="000000"><b>(11) A sustenance for the servants, and We give life thereby to a dead land; thus is the rising.</b></font>
كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوْحٍ وَّاَصْحٰبُ الرَّسِّ وَثَمُوْدُۙ‏(12)
<font color="000000"><b>(12) (Others) before them rejected (prophets): the people of Nuh and the dwellers of Ar-Rass and Samood,</b></font>
وَعَادٌ وَّفِرْعَوْنُ وَاِخْوَانُ لُوْطٍۙ‏(13)
<font color="000000"><b>(13) And Ad and Firon and Lut's brethren,</b></font>
وَّاَصْحٰبُ الْاَيْكَةِ وَقَوْمُ تُبَّعٍ‌ؕ كُلٌّ كَذَّبَ الرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ وَعِيْدِ‏(14)
<font color="000000"><b>(14) And the dwellers of the grove and the people of Tuba; all rejected the apostles, so My threat came to pass.</b></font>
اَفَعَيِيْنَا بِالْخَلْقِ الْاَوَّلِ‌ؕ بَلْ هُمْ فِىْ لَبْسٍ مِّنْ خَلْقٍ جَدِيْدٍ‏(15)
<font color="000000"><b>(15) Were We then fatigued with the first creation? Yet are they in doubt with regard to a new creation.</b></font>
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْاِنْسَانَ وَنَعْلَمُ مَا تُوَسْوِسُ بِهٖ نَفْسُهٗ ۖۚ وَنَحْنُ اَقْرَبُ اِلَيْهِ مِنْ حَبْلِ الْوَرِيْدِ‏(16)
<font color="000000"><b>(16) And certainly We created man, and We know what his mind suggests to him, and We are nearer to him than his life-vein.</b></font>
اِذْ يَتَلَقَّى الْمُتَلَقِّيٰنِ عَنِ الْيَمِيْنِ وَعَنِ الشِّمَالِ قَعِيْدٌ‏(17)
<font color="000000"><b>(17) When the two receivers receive, sitting on the right and on the left.</b></font>
مَا يَلْفِظُ مِنْ قَوْلٍ اِلَّا لَدَيْهِ رَقِيْبٌ عَتِيْدٌ‏(18)
<font color="000000"><b>(18) He utters not a word but there is by him a watcher at hand.</b></font>
وَ جَآءَتْ سَكْرَةُ الْمَوْتِ بِالْحَقِّ‌ؕ ذٰلِكَ مَا كُنْتَ مِنْهُ تَحِيْدُ‏(19)
<font color="000000"><b>(19) And the stupor of death will come in truth; that is what you were trying to escape.</b></font>
وَنُفِخَ فِى الصُّوْرِ ‌ؕ ذٰ لِكَ يَوْمُ الْوَعِيْدِ‏(20)
<font color="000000"><b>(20) And the trumpet shall be blown; that is the day of the threatening.</b></font>
وَجَآءَتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّعَهَا سَآئِقٌ وَّشَهِيْدٌ‏(21)
<font color="000000"><b>(21) And every soul shall come, with it a driver and a witness.</b></font>
لَقَدْ كُنْتَ فِىْ غَفْلَةٍ مِّنْ هٰذَا فَكَشَفْنَا عَنْكَ غِطَآءَكَ فَبَصَرُكَ الْيَوْمَ حَدِيْدٌ‏(22)
<font color="000000"><b>(22) Certainly you were heedless of it, but now We have removed from you your veil, so your sight today is sharp.</b></font>
وَقَالَ قَرِيْنُهٗ هٰذَا مَا لَدَىَّ عَتِيْدٌ ؕ‏(23)
<font color="000000"><b>(23) And his companions shall say: This is what is ready with me.</b></font>
اَلْقِيَا فِىْ جَهَنَّمَ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ عَنِيْدٍۙ‏(24)
<font color="000000"><b>(24) Do cast into hell every ungrateful, rebellious one,</b></font>
مَّنَّاعٍ لِّلْخَيْرِ مُعْتَدٍ مُّرِيْبِ ۙ‏(25)
<font color="000000"><b>(25) Forbidder of good, exceeder of limits, doubter,</b></font>
۟الَّذِىْ جَعَلَ مَعَ اللّٰهِ اِلٰهًا اٰخَرَ فَاَ لْقِيٰهُ فِى الْعَذَابِ الشَّدِيْدِ‏(26)
<font color="000000"><b>(26) Who sets up another god with Allah, so do cast him into severe chastisement.</b></font>
قَالَ قَرِيْنُهٗ رَبَّنَا مَاۤ اَطْغَيْتُهٗ وَلٰكِنْ كَانَ فِىْ ضَلٰلٍۢ بَعِيْدٍ‏(27)
<font color="000000"><b>(27) His companion will say: Our Lord! I did not lead him into inordinacy but he himself was in a great error.</b></font>
قَالَ لَا تَخْتَصِمُوْا لَدَىَّ وَقَدْ قَدَّمْتُ اِلَيْكُمْ بِالْوَعِيْدِ‏(28)
<font color="000000"><b>(28) He will say: Do not quarrel in My presence, and indeed I gave you the threatening beforehand:</b></font>
مَا يُبَدَّلُ الْقَوْلُ لَدَىَّ وَمَاۤ اَنَا بِظَلَّامٍ لِّلْعَبِيْدِ‏(29)
<font color="000000"><b>(29) My word shall not be changed, nor am I in the least unjust to the servants.</b></font>
يَوْمَ نَقُوْلُ لِجَهَنَّمَ هَلِ امْتَلَئْتِ وَتَقُوْلُ هَلْ مِنْ مَّزِيْدٍ‏(30)
<font color="000000"><b>(30) On the day that We will say to hell: Are you filled up? And it will say: Are there any more?</b></font>
وَاُزْلِفَتِ الْجَنَّةُ لِلْمُتَّقِيْنَ غَيْرَ بَعِيْدٍ‏(31)
<font color="000000"><b>(31) And the garden shall be brought near to those who guard (against evil), not far off:</b></font>
هٰذَا مَا تُوْعَدُوْنَ لِكُلِّ اَوَّابٍ حَفِيْظٍ‌ۚ‏(32)
<font color="000000"><b>(32) This is what you were promised, (it is) for every one who turns frequently (to Allah), keeps (His limits);</b></font>
مَنْ خَشِىَ الرَّحْمٰنَ بِالْغَيْبِ وَجَآءَ بِقَلْبٍ مُّنِيْبِۙ‏(33)
<font color="000000"><b>(33) Who fears the Beneficent Allah in secret and comes with a penitent heart:</b></font>
۟ادْخُلُوْهَا بِسَلٰمٍ‌ؕ ذٰلِكَ يَوْمُ الْخُلُوْدِ‏(34)
<font color="000000"><b>(34) Enter it in peace, that is the day of abiding.</b></font>
لَهُمْ مَّا يَشَآءُوْنَ فِيْهَا وَلَدَيْنَا مَزِيْدٌ‏(35)
<font color="000000"><b>(35) They have therein what they wish and with Us is more yet.</b></font>
وَكَمْ اَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُمْ مِّنْ قَرْنٍ هُمْ اَشَدُّ مِنْهُمْ بَطْشًا فَنَقَّبُوْا فِى الْبِلَادِ ؕ هَلْ مِنْ مَّحِيْصٍ‏(36)
<font color="000000"><b>(36) And how many a generation did We destroy before them who were mightier in prowess than they, so they went about and about in the lands. Is there a place of refuge?</b></font>
اِنَّ فِىْ ذٰلِكَ لَذِكْرٰى لِمَنْ كَانَ لَهٗ قَلْبٌ اَوْ اَلْقَى السَّمْعَ وَهُوَ شَهِيْدٌ‏(37)
<font color="000000"><b>(37) Most surely there is a reminder in this for him who has a heart or he gives ear and is a witness.</b></font>
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِىْ سِتَّةِ اَيَّامٍ‌ۖ وَّمَا مَسَّنَا مِنْ لُّغُوْبٍ‏(38)
<font color="000000"><b>(38) And certainly We created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six periods and there touched Us not any fatigue.</b></font>
فَاصْبِرْ عَلٰى مَا يَقُوْلُوْنَ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ قَبْلَ طُلُوْعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ الْغُرُوْبِ‌ۚ‏(39)
<font color="000000"><b>(39) Therefore be patient of what they say, and sing the praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before the setting.</b></font>
وَمِنَ الَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْهُ وَاَدْبَارَ السُّجُوْدِ‏(40)
<font color="000000"><b>(40) And glorify Him in the night and after the prayers.</b></font>
وَاسْتَمِعْ يَوْمَ يُنَادِ الْمُنَادِ مِنْ مَّكَانٍ قَرِيْبٍۙ‏(41)
<font color="000000"><b>(41) And listen on the day when the crier shall cry from a near place</b></font>
يَوْمَ يَسْمَعُوْنَ الصَّيْحَةَ بِالْحَقِّ‌ ؕ ذٰ لِكَ يَوْمُ الْخُرُوْجِ‏(42)
<font color="000000"><b>(42) The day when they shall hear the cry in truth; that is the day of coming forth.</b></font>
اِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْىٖ وَنُمِيْتُ وَاِلَيْنَا الْمَصِيْرُۙ‏(43)
<font color="000000"><b>(43) Surely We give life and cause to die, and to Us is the eventual coming;</b></font>
يَوْمَ تَشَقَّقُ الْاَرْضُ عَنْهُمْ سِرَاعًا‌ ؕ ذٰ لِكَ حَشْرٌ عَلَيْنَا يَسِيْرٌ‏(44)
<font color="000000"><b>(44) The day on which the earth shall cleave asunder under them, they will make haste; that is a gathering together easy to Us.</b></font>
نَحْنُ اَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَقُوْلُوْنَ‌ وَمَاۤ اَنْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ بِجَبَّارٍ‌ فَذَكِّرْ بِالْقُرْاٰنِ مَنْ يَّخَافُ وَعِيْدِ‏(45)
<font color="000000"><b>(45) We know best what they say, and you are not one to compel them; therefore remind him by means of the Quran who fears My threat.</b></font>
SURAH ADH-DHARIYAAT (THE SCATTERERS)
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
وَالذّٰرِيٰتِ ذَرْوًا ۙ‏(1)
<font color="000000"><b>(1) I swear by the wind that scatters far and wide,</b></font>
فَالْحٰمِلٰتِ وِقْرًا ۙ‏(2)
<font color="000000"><b>(2) Then those clouds bearing the load (of minute things in space).</b></font>
فَالْجٰرِيٰتِ يُسْرًا ۙ‏(3)
<font color="000000"><b>(3) Then those (ships) that glide easily,</b></font>
فَالْمُقَسِّمٰتِ اَمْرًا ۙ‏(4)
<font color="000000"><b>(4) Then those (angels who) distribute blessings by Our command;</b></font>
اِنَّمَا تُوْعَدُوْنَ لَصَادِقٌ ۙ‏(5)
<font color="000000"><b>(5) What you are threatened with is most surely true,</b></font>
وَّاِنَّ الدِّيْنَ لوَاقِعٌ ؕ‏(6)
<font color="000000"><b>(6) And the Judgement must most surely come about.</b></font>
وَالسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ الْحُبُكِ ۙ‏(7)
<font color="000000"><b>(7) I swear by the heaven full of ways.</b></font>
اِنَّكُمْ لَفِىْ قَوْلٍ مُّخْتَلِفٍ ۙ‏(8)
<font color="000000"><b>(8) Most surely you are at variance witheach other in what you say,</b></font>
يُّؤْفَكُ عَنْهُ مَنْ اُفِكَ ؕ‏(9)
<font color="000000"><b>(9) He is turned away from it who would be turned away.</b></font>
قُتِلَ الْخَرّٰصُوْنَۙ‏(10)
<font color="000000"><b>(10) Cursed be the liars,</b></font>
الَّذِيْنَ هُمْ فِىْ غَمْرَةٍ سَاهُوْنَۙ‏(11)
<font color="000000"><b>(11) Who are in a gulf (of ignorance) neglectful;</b></font>
يَسْئَلُوْنَ اَيَّانَ يَوْمُ الدِّيْنِؕ‏(12)
<font color="000000"><b>(12) They ask: When is the day of Judgement?</b></font>
يَوْمَ هُمْ عَلَى النَّارِ يُفْتَنُوْنَ‏(13)
<font color="000000"><b>(13) (It is) the day on which they shall be tried at the fire.</b></font>
ذُوْقُوْا فِتْنَتَكُمْؕ هٰذَا الَّذِىْ كُنْتُمْ بِهٖ تَسْتَعْجِلُوْنَ‏(14)
<font color="000000"><b>(14) Taste your persecution! this is what you would hasten on.</b></font>
اِنَّ الْمُتَّقِيْنَ فِىْ جَنّٰتٍ وَّعُيُوْنٍۙ‏(15)
<font color="000000"><b>(15) Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and fountains.</b></font>
اٰخِذِيْنَ مَاۤ اٰتٰٮهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ‌ؕ اِنَّهُمْ كَانُوْا قَبْلَ ذٰلِكَ مُحْسِنِيْنَؕ‏(16)
<font color="000000"><b>(16) Taking what their Lord gives them; surely they were before that, the doers of good.</b></font>
كَانُوْا قَلِيْلًا مِّنَ الَّيْلِ مَا يَهْجَعُوْنَ‏(17)
<font color="000000"><b>(17) They used to sleep but little in the night.</b></font>
وَبِالْاَسْحَارِ هُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُوْنَ‏(18)
<font color="000000"><b>(18) And in the morning they asked forgiveness.</b></font>
وَفِىْۤ اَمْوَالِهِمْ حَقٌّ لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَالْمَحْرُوْمِ‏(19)
<font color="000000"><b>(19) And in their property was a portion due to him who begs and to him who is denied (good).</b></font>
وَفِى الْاَرْضِ اٰيٰتٌ لِّلْمُوْقِنِيْنَۙ‏(20)
<font color="000000"><b>(20) And in the earth there are signs for those who are sure,</b></font>
وَفِىْۤ اَنْفُسِكُمْ‌ؕ اَفَلَا تُبْصِرُوْنَ‏(21)
<font color="000000"><b>(21) And in your own souls (too); will you not then see?</b></font>
وَفِى السَّمَآءِ رِزْقُكُمْ وَمَا تُوْعَدُوْنَ‏(22)
<font color="000000"><b>(22) And in the heaven is your sustenance and what you are threatened with.</b></font>
فَوَرَبِّ السَّمَآءِ وَالْاَرْضِ اِنَّهٗ لَحَقٌّ مِّثْلَ مَاۤ اَنَّكُمْ تَنْطِقُوْنَ‏(23)
<font color="000000"><b>(23) And by the Lord of the heavens and the earth! it is most surely the truth, just as you do speak.</b></font>
هَلْ اَتٰٮكَ حَدِيْثُ ضَيْفِ اِبْرٰهِيْمَ الْمُكْرَمِيْنَ‌ۘ‏(24)
<font color="000000"><b>(24) Has there come to you information about the honored guests of Ibrahim?</b></font>
اِذْ دَخَلُوْا عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُوْا سَلٰمًا‌ؕ قَالَ سَلٰمٌ ۚ قَوْمٌ مُّنْكَرُوْنَ‌‏(25)
<font color="000000"><b>(25) When they entered upon him, they said: Peace. Peace, said he, a strange people.</b></font>
فَرَاغَ اِلٰٓى اَهْلِهٖ فَجَآءَ بِعِجْلٍ سَمِيْنٍۙ‏(26)
<font color="000000"><b>(26) Then he turned aside to his family secretly and brought a fat (roasted) calf,</b></font>
فَقَرَّبَهٗۤ اِلَيْهِمْ قَالَ اَلَا تَاْكُلُوْنَ‏(27)
<font color="000000"><b>(27) So he brought it near them. He said: What! will you not eat?</b></font>
فَاَوْجَسَ مِنْهُمْ خِيْفَةً‌ؕ قَالُوْا لَا تَخَفْ‌ ؕ وَبَشَّرُوْهُ بِغُلٰمٍ عَلِيْمٍ‏(28)
<font color="000000"><b>(28) So he conceived in his mind a fear on account of them. They said: Fear not. And they gave him the good news of a boy possessing knowledge.</b></font>
فَاَقْبَلَتِ امْرَاَتُهٗ فِىْ صَرَّةٍ فَصَكَّتْ وَجْهَهَا وَقَالَتْ عَجُوْزٌ عَقِيْمٌ‏(29)
<font color="000000"><b>(29) Then his wife came up in great grief, and she struck her face and said: An old barren woman!</b></font>
قَالُوْا كَذٰلِكِ ۙ قَالَ رَبُّكِ‌ؕ اِنَّهٗ هُوَ الْحَكِيْمُ الْعَلِيْمُ‏(30)
<font color="000000"><b>(30) They said: Thus says your Lord: Surely He is the Wise, the Knowing.</b></font>
