SURAH AL-FEEL (THE ELEPHANT)
This is a ‘Makki’ surah with 5 verses. It is narrated from Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq that whoever recites this surah in his wajib prayers, the mountains will bear witness on the Day of Judgement that he prayed and he will be taken to Paradise on the command of Allah (s.w.t).
The person who recites this surah is kept safe from his enemies and has his difficulties and problems solved quickly. Recitation of this surah is also helpful in remaining safe from evil tyrant rulers.
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
<font color="000000"><b>In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.</b></font>
اَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِاَصْحٰبِ الْفِيْلِؕ(1)
<font color="000000"><b>(1) Have you not considered how your Lord dealt with the possessors of the elephant?</b></font>
اَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِىْ تَضْلِيْلٍۙ(2)
<font color="000000"><b>(2) Did He not cause their war to end in confusion,</b></font>
وَّاَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا اَبَابِيْلَۙ(3)
<font color="000000"><b>(3) And send down (to prey) upon them birds in flocks,</b></font>
تَرْمِيْهِمْ بِحِجَارَةٍ مِّنْ سِجِّيْلٍۙ(4)
<font color="000000"><b>(4) Casting against them stones of baked clay,</b></font>
فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَّاْكُوْلٍ(5)
<font color="000000"><b>(5) So He rendered them like straw eaten up?</b></font>
