In tradition, the Holy Prophet (peace be on him and on his holy progeny) said: "whoever wanted to be secured from drowning, burnt and theft should recite the following in the morning":

بِسْمِ اللهِ مَا شَاۤءَ اللهُ، لَايَصْرِفُ السُّوْءَ اِلَّا اللهُ، بِسْمِ اللهِ مَا شَاۤءَ اللهُ، لَايَسُوْقُ الْخَيْرَ اِلَّا اللهُ، بِسْمِ اللهِ مَا شَاۤءَ اللهُ، مَايَكُوْنُ مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ فَمِنَ اللهِ، بِسْمِ اللهِ مَا شَاۤءَ اللهُ، لَا حَوْلَ وَلَاقُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيْمِ، بِسْمِ اللهِ مَا شَاۤءَ اللهُ، وَصَلَّى اللهُ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَاٰلِهِ الطَّيِّبِيْنَ۔

By the name of Allah and His wishes, no one turns away evils except Allah, by the name of Allah and His wishes, no one that do convey goods except Allah, by the name of Allah and His wishes ever bounty one possess is from Allah, by the name of Allah and Hu wishes, there is no power nor strengthexcept that of Allah the Exalted the Greatest, blessing be on Muhammad and on his pure and holy progeny.

Whoever recites this supplication (3) three times in the morning shall be rescued from drowning, burnt and theft till the evening period, and whoever recite it (3) three times in the evening shall be rescued from burnt, drowning and theft till morning period.

Verily Khidr and Ilyas (peace be on them) usually meet in every occasion and departed each other with these very words.
