surah al-Fateha is a cure for physical and also spiritual ailments. Without this surah, even the daily prayers are invalid. It is indeed a great treasure that has been given to us by Allah (s.w.t.) through the Holy Prophet (S) and no previous prophet has been given anything like it. This surah is also known as ‘Ummul Kitab’ and ‘Sab’a mathani’.
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ(1)
<font color="000000"><b>(1) In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.</b></font>
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَۙ(2)
<font color="000000"><b>(2) All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.</b></font>
الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِۙ(3)
<font color="000000"><b>(3) The Beneficent, the Merciful.</b></font>
مٰلِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّيْنِؕ(4)
<font color="000000"><b>(4) Master of the Day of Judgement.</b></font>
اِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَاِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِيْنُؕ(5)
<font color="000000"><b>(5) Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help.</b></font>
اِهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيْمَۙ(6)
<font color="000000"><b>(6) Keep us on the right path.</b></font>
صِرَاطَ الَّذِيْنَ اَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ ۙ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوْبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّآلِّيْنَ(7)
<font color="000000"><b>(7) The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray.</b></font>
